I recently had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I had booked a room and received a booking confirmation. The payment was reserved on my credit card and I received the hotel policy which stated that the final payment would replace the reservation on the credit card.
However, just two days before my scheduled arrival, I received a cancellation notice claiming that payment couldn't be processed. This was very confusing and frustrating because I knew that the payment would be made in person at the hotel upon arrival, and the payment amount was still reserved on my credit card.
I immediately called the hotel within one hour of receiving the cancellation notice, but unfortunately, the lady who answered the phone was extremely hostile from the very beginning of the call. Even before I had a chance to explain my situation, her tone was already aggressive and unhelpful. I had the call on speakerphone, and two of my friends who were with me can confirm this.
To make matters worse, the hotel did not offer me an alternative room and within one hour had already given my original room to someone else. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering that I had made the effort to contact them immediately and had a confirmed reservation.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this hotel. The hostile customer service, claiming a flimsy reason for cancellation, and the lack of effort to offer an alternative room made for a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be staying there...
Read moreStayed here for 14 days on extended business trip to Taipei. The hotel is quite close to Taipei Main Station, only a 15 minute walk, so it is convenient to get to from Taoyuan Airport taking the Airport Express. The hotel itself is not big, but it is well run and clean. The staff speaks English and are quite helpful if you have questions. There is always staff at the front desk to help. The downstairs lobby of hotel has some room to work and free coffee, tea, and snacks. The rooms will be small, but acceptable for the price. I chose the Standard room, so it is the smallest, but there are bigger rooms available. Despite the size and no windows, the room was decent with a comfortable, desk, small fridge, hot water kettle, safe, and plenty of lights and power sockets. The bathroom is typical of these hotels with an open shower next to toilet and sink. No issues with that and the water pressure and temperature were fine. I like to use washcloths, that they did not provide, but I had my own. Wi-Fi was free and reasonably fast. The rooms were cleaned regularly and tea/coffee/water replenished. I had no issues with noise. The hotel is located in the Linsen St area, which has lots of bars and clubs, but I did not hear any noise, but rooms facing street might. The area is safe, has lots of great restaurants, especially Japanese ramen and izakaya places, and is close to MRT and Youbike stations. Will definitely return again, this place is friendly, clean, and...

Before check in,had drop an email request to have a complimentary cake since my brother birthday during the stay but apparently had been turn down the request as no cake shop nearby around and no other effort had been made. After checked in,the room was a turned down condition. Wallpaper peel down, room dusty and even bedsheet simply apply on. Besides that, the tv need to keep turn on & off just to get the sound. The 2nd night,i forget my key in the room. Proceed to reception counter to have an extra key. The reception had verified the details with me and in the end he still ask me “you do really need to enter the room as we only have 2 key per room only.” Is this the standard procedure you guys have and reply to me which have a hotelier background?? On the last day upon check out,no help been extended to assist with the luggage and we have 2 senior citizen with us on a group. Reminder: don’t stay in...
