美濃屋 — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

With this kind of price, NT$190, the cheapest ramen you can order here, you may find a much better restaurant or a noodle shop in Taipei. Actually, I don't know if I should call it ramen because it is very different from those I tried in Japan, either for the taste of the soup or noodle itself, may be more like a homemade noodle shop but a ramen one. So if you would expect to eat Japanese style ramen, I assure you may be very disappointed. For me, I will not come to this noodle shop twice because there are many better choices with much cheaper...

I saw pretty decent (Google Maps) reviews on this place, but was sorely disappointed: they are over-priced for a subpar bowl of mediocre noodles and overcooked meat. And the miso broth was really crazy salty: I stopped halfway, and even an hour later my tongue felt furry.

All in all, it was a disastrous meal for me. It’s no wonder they were practically empty at lunch in a popular area.

〔拉麵科普〕喜多方ラーメン

喜多方ラーメン、札幌ラーメン、博多ラーメン並稱為：日本三大ラーメン。 喜多方拉麵是福島県喜多方市的當地拉麵，其特色為：清澈的豚骨醬油+平打熟成多加水麵，當然各店還是會有一些差異，像是有混著煮干、味噌、塩等，但外觀主體十分明確。

喜多方拉麵的発祥の店是由中國浙江省的店主潘欽星在昭和２年所開的〔源来軒〕。 之後於昭和６２年由當地創立《蔵のまち喜多方 老麺会》，其會員皆是受到認證的喜多方拉麵。
