Shabu Shabu Nabe — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

Searched this restaurant and visited on January 10, 2024. NTD $1,800 each guest. Thought we ( 4 people) could enjoy our meals with such a high price. But we were wrong and very disappointed. Not sure if we were looked like Asian from the mainland, the waitress treated us rudely and served us with the lower parts of the king crab legs which had more joints and less meat. But we found she served other customers with much better upper parts of the legs. We protested and she finally gave us a dish of upper parts of the legs. The restaurant has a 2 hour limit policy. Just before 30 minutes of ending, the waitress again told us we need to stop eating and she would serve desert which we didn't ask for. We paid NTD $7,500 plus tips( about USD $280) for this awful buffet. We complained to the manager and requested the waitress should be trained again. She can't bring her personal feelings to the customer service and totally ruined our diner. We do not recommend...

A fairly small restaurant with AYCE seafood/meat shabu Shabu. This restaurant does not offer you a menu, you’d have to order from what the waiter tell you. This place is a paradise for king crab lover with ayce king crabs (and of course shrimps, scallops, abalone, short rib, beef tongue, Pork etc). Not a huge selections of meat/veggie here but who’s here for meat and veggies anyways? Lol

Pros- fresh seafood (not allergic reaction afterwards that’s how I know) quality over quantity Friendly staffs AycDrink bottled water and canned soda

Cons- Restaurant is a bit cramped hence ventilation needs work Limited selections Need to remind staffs on orders Only one unisex restroom (not ideal in ayce restaurants) King crabs after first order doesn’t come with crab claws anymore and doesn’t get that fancy, pretty plate arrangement like...

If you want really good and fresh food like KING CRAB, WAGU A5Beef, Ibiza pork, fresh scallops, oysters, shrimps of various kinds, rib beef, and all this in a HotPot and it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT!❤️ then this is the place to come.

I really shouldn’t be reviewing this place cus I’m afraid too many people will know my “secret” best eats in Taipei cus getting a spot isn’t easy already but now that the secrets out…dang I might not be able to get a table next time 😆

Seriously this is world class buffet but instead of going to the grub, they bring it to your table, and it just keeps coming and coming for two full hours until you say have mercy 😆 another bite and I’ll explode!
