This kaiten sushi restaurant has became one of our favorite sushi joints in recent months. Unlike the Sushiro restaurants in Japan gearing towards low end customers, their branding strategy for Taiwan is leaning towards more higher end consumer. Perhaps is to compete with HiSushi and Kura Sushi which are also fast expending throughout the big cities.

I recently visited Sushi-Ro, a Japanese sushi train restaurant, and was blown away by the deliciousness of their sushi. The fish was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, and there was a great variety of rolls to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and the sashimi.

In addition to the incredible sushi, I was impressed by the lively atmosphere at Sushi-Ro. The sushi train added a fun and interactive element to the dining experience, and the chefs behind the counter were skilled and entertaining to watch.

Thought the rotating track serving sushi was not new to us. This one was quite a delightful experience. The food was quite nice with a reasonable price. The slow cooked egg in a cup (not sure how I spell it,し/ちゃわんむし )was a surprise. The tuna liver sub was another one. Deserts were meh... No matter what, reasonable price with good food, nice arrangement for self-service plus a comfortable seating gave a great impression. If you don't feel comfortable taking the food from the rotating track, you can always order your own, they will send the food directly...
