TakeOut Burger&Cafe 民權店 （不接待10歲以下幼童） — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

This is simple food with good value. I got the fish burger which is similar to what id make at home with frozen fish sticks adding with fries and a coke (biggest glass I've been offered anywhere so far 👍).

They have some cats roaming around and doing their thing. We mostly left them alone but a kid was going around petting them. Super chill cats.

It's sort of self serve - you take a menu (use Google translate + log into their wifi), go to your table, once you know what you want to back to the front and place your order. You'll pay for the food and they'll bring it to you. If you need water, napkins or anything it's on the tray return station towards the back where tables are.

Pro tip, the self serve station has these paper pockets that you can put your burger in to make it more manageable. Came...

The burger was only cooked on one side, raw on the other side.

The basement seems to be the cat litter and smells like it too. I could not eat there as the cat urine smell was too strong. Moving to another seat by the bar I had the AC blast a lot of cat hair in my food each time customers patted the cats on the bar counter.

Overall the experience was horrible. The restaurant was also dirty and staff very unprofessional. All the staff there were eating their own outside ordered dinners in front of the customers while trying to work at the same time.

If you don’t mind a very casual experience and you don’t care about smell or hygiene, then you might like it here.

A huge disappointment with the service and the food here. I guess most of the Google reviewers don’t care much about the food but the cats… Children under 10 y/o aren’t allowed to get in, what a discrimination! Couldn’t believe this kind of weird policy is happening in Taipei! My kids (9&7) were craving for hamburgers and fries; brought them here in order to get them the real deal, but we were rejected to eat-in. I had to order takeout, but to be honest, the hamburgers aren’t so great (the patty is kinda dry) and the fries have way too much seasoning.
