The 蛋饼 Danbing is extra good. jet lagged so up at 4 this morning. Did a short work out and walked over from hotel to this nice Taiwanese breakfast joint. They specialize in breakfast and close before 1pm but are open ar 4am so great for early birds. The owner is diligent and fast making dozens of dishes from a few core ingredients. Others there seemed like regulars. It’s nice to go to a place where you can get to see the proprietor behind it versus a machine you order from. Increasingly rare as time marches on. The prices are fair. The food is good. A great bet at 4-6am before most other places open.

Everything was good, but the danbing was the highlight. The pepper sauce used on the danbing and turnip cake was a highlight. All for $185 so a great value. They have an English menu available and had it ready when they saw us coming 😂. Very friendly staff too and spoke English to us without us asking, and they were overall very welcoming.

Had a tasty breakfast here, about 9am on a Thursday it wasn't very busy. We had vegetable danbing, bacon & egg sandwich, turnip cake, coffee, milk tea and soy milk. Everything was good, but the danbing was the highlight. The pepper sauce used on the danbing and turnip cake was a highlight. All for $185 so a great value. They have an English menu available and had it ready when they saw us coming 😂. Very friendly staff too and spoke English to us without us asking, and they were overall very welcoming.

Authentic Taiwanese breakfast at this spot during a nice rainy morning with the family. We had a pork hamburger with egg, ham and cheese pancake, hashbrown and cheese pancake, fried dumplings and some extra hotdogs. Wanted to try the scallion eggs but sadly it wasn't available.

Soy milk and red tea was good too.

Total damage NTD 250, great value!
