I've been this place 4 years ago. So it was the first time to visit here after COVID. I was simply happy to hear this place is still on service, even the place had been changed. But, I found out this cafe was downgraded after move. Here's some reason.

unfriendly staff and poor layout When I visited, there were 2 staffs at the casher. I asked if there's 2nd floor, and one of the staff (looked unpleasant my visit) gave me the menu, and let me go to the upstair. But eventually I ordered coffee on my phone, and anyway I needed to go downstair to pay. What's the point to go upstair first? It's simply annoying and I wonder why they didn't let me order at the first place.

Coffee taste worse I ordered Iced coffee and felt it was downgraded. I'm sure it used to be freshly ground, poured into tall glass with glass straw(That was my favorite too).

Too cold The air conditioning is too chilly. unconfortable.

If I didn't know previous place, I rated maybe 4 or 5 stars. Coffee is still good and pound cake is tasty. But sadly, I remember how it used to be better. I don't think I will come back...

I spent a couple of hours in the basement seating area, which proved to be very relaxing. The establishment thoughtfully placed two dehumidifiers in the space, effectively purifying the air and ensuring a comfortable breathing environment. The carefully curated selection of music and books contributed to creating a cozy atmosphere. This versatile space is equally suitable for leisurely reading or focused work. Given the pleasant experience, I will definitely visit again.
