lets start with the good: crispy fries tzatziki sauce is yummy
now everything else: shred the lettuce!!! nobody wants to bite into a chunk of lettuce in their pita why would you layer all the vegetables at the bottom of the pita and then put the meat only on the very top? do you want only the first bite to have meat? because then the rest is just pita bread and lettuce. amateurs! why did you give such a small amount of meat? its a pita! it should be stuffed no self respecting greek person would serve such a small amount of tzatziki sauce. it was tasty but they give literally half a spoon worth for a full serving of pita sandwich. its literally the only part that tastes good. you will need a lot more the menu is so confusing. you will find the same picture on every page and then find out that you cant order the pita on page 1 because they aren't serving it. you have to order the pita on page 3... wtf. i want a pita just give me the pita idc what page i ordered from. why is the same item on 3 different pages. they say its because it comes with different combo. but then just add a not saying you can choose your combo like a normal restaurant. the chairs are so uncomfortable
who designed this restaurant? the food taste, the food plating, the menu, the chairs are all...
Read moreThe food wasn't bad in the sense that there was nothing wrong with it (other than the price, which was very expensive for what you actually get).
But this was absolutely not Greek food! This was at best a Taiwanese set meal inspired by Greek dishes.
I had the Beef with lemon and Ouzo. The full meal "B" set and I did eat it cause wow $660ntd!
I won't nitpick every detail, but suffice to say not a single flavor represented an authentic experience.
If you're looking for authentic Mediterranean .....Greek or Turkish there are much better options in Taipei.
For reference I grew up eating Greek food at my friend Thoe's house, who's family runs Anatoli in North Vancouver. They are a immigrant Greek family. So, needless to say (but I will anyways) the food I'm comparing to is what you find in a truly authentic restaurant or what you eat when you actually travel to Greece.
It's honestly too bad that this food was so disappointing, as I was hoping to find an authentic place with...
Read moreThe food there is quite decent, but personally, I don’t really recommend the fried dumplings as it doesn’t really meets my expectations, the skin was somehow a bit dry and too thick and the sauce doesn’t really go well with the dumplings, the sauce is good but they don’t really combine with each other. The stewed beef is amazing, but the lemony taste is slightly stronger then what I thought, it might not be a good choice for those who doesn’t like lemons but for me, it’s real good. The chocolate cake was a meh for me, it’s too dry and I feel like the wine taste isn’t strong enough and yet the chocolate too didn’t stand out. The pita with a beamy sauce is delicious, and I kinda thinks that the sauce pairs well with most of the dishes I’ve ordered. The cheese cake is tasty but it’s quite a small portion, I mean for the price it’s understandable. It has a mild orange zest and some rose fragrance, it meets...
