I’m sorry but I just can’t figure out which part in this meal worth Ntd250. Well, there’s a big bowl of rice. Three deep-fried oysters on the top and a bit of this lettuce which is obviously not cooked so I had to dump it aside like raw garbage. I wonder if later on rats would have interest in this. Oh I almost forgot there’s a cup of drink that I can refill. The thing is, it tastes literally like tap water so as far as I can see, nobody seems to have any interest refilling their drinks. I hate to say, but to be honest with you I totally think this is the best example to demonstrate what ripoff means. Great cutlets with lovely little sets to make for a satisfying meal. The meat is always well-tenderized and exceptionally crispy. I had the 25th anniversary combo set that came with a cutlet, two massive oysters, and a shrimp. Paired with a Suntory Premiun malt this was heaven on a cold rainy Taipei night.

I also love how quiet and calm it feels comparative to the surrounding areas below, like a little sanctuary.

Staff graciously provided an English menu and spoke English to me as well.

Located on the 12th floor of the Shin Mitsukoshi department store, this is one of several branches of this Japanese chain in Taipei.

Despite being a chain, I love this place. Perfectly cooked pork and chicken cutlets with mouthwatering sauces, eat-as-much-as-you-can salad, pickles, rice and miso soup. Service is always very good and attentive. English-language level of course depends on your server.
