I recently had the pleasure of dining at the beloved George's Tavern restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. With over a decade of service, this gem has truly mastered the art of crafting exceptional dishes that leave your taste buds dancing with joy.

This was a pleasant experience in town, but relatively secluded and quiet. Clientele is almost exclusively ex-pats. We were a party of 8, 6 adults and 1 child, 1 adolescent there for Sunday lunch.

Very eclectic menu with lots of variety. There was something for everyone—seafood, vegetarian, vegan, chicken, red meat. Several varieties of pizza with different sizes. Crust is more like New York thin crust, amount of sauce is less than what we Americans are accustomed to, but still was quite tasty. I ordered stir-fried chickpeas and vegetables which was very good. Portions were large and satisfactory, and I wound up overeating a little because the food was so good.

I cannot comment on the 'Tavern' part of the title since no one ordered any alcoholic drinks.

There are some swings for small children to play on.

The restrooms were clean and in good repair.

The only thing I had concerns about was the slowness of arrival of the food. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. The initial attendant was quite quick and obtained our orders readily. Our beverages came quickly, But the food was slow to come even though it was not that complicated.
