Our visit to Piri Frangos was disappointingly frustrating. Despite our expectations based on their Instagram account, our experience fell short in various ways. Here's what happened in brief:
The conflicting information provided by the staff was highly frustrating. Despite the DM sent to the Instagram account allowing cake without any concerns, the manager seemed completely unaware and hesitant. He not only expressed unnecessary worries about our length of stay, potential charges, and hypothetical space constraints, but he also prioritized imaginary customers over our presence, even though the restaurant was far from crowded. It was an absurd display of disregard for us as paying customers.
Basic amenities such as air conditioning and lights seemed to escape the attention of the forgetful waitress. We had to remind as if providing a comfortable dining environment was an afterthought for the establishment
The inconsistency in their menu presentation added to the confusion. Although menus were present on each table, the manager claimed the restaurant followed a fast-food model where menus are typically displayed over the counter and sign saying place your order here, but no indication as such. The whole process of ordering at the counter, paying on your table, a contradictory process left us utterly bewildered.
While the food had a few satisfactory aspects, the overall experience was overshadowed by these disappointments. We even had to remind the waitress about our drinks. Although they eventually moved the cake as requested, their lack of enthusiasm was palpable.
In conclusion, our visit to Piri Frangos left us with mixed feelings. The lack of communication, inconsistency, and hesitancy toward customer requests dampened the experience. The restaurant needs to address these issues, focusing on improved internal communication, consistency, and attentive...
Read moreArrogant Manager and ridiculous customer services, I would understand if we were not treated right by the staff.. but last night my family of 13 people we were treated unfairly by the owner/managers. (I guess he needs to head back and learn some basic customer services).
Statements such as :- “collapsing his business” simply because we reserved for 10 people and ended up adding 3 more children which meant one more table being occupied. “we are creating unnecessary drama and he does not have time for this” ridiculous response, did not expect this from the manager.
Rather than understanding or explaining his/her dine in customer, he gave us such statements we simply left in anger and disappointment.
Note - the other tables were not booked, so we don’t understand what was the issue if we occupied extra table. We are paying for the meal..
Thank God it’s not actually Nando’s this place is just a Nando’s wannabe….
Just want to add something no matter how good your product/food is if you don’t treat customers with respect. I am sorry my friend but you ain’t...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Piri Frangos was incredibly disappointing. The service was slow and unorganized—took over 40 minutes to get our food, and the place wasn’t even that busy. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and lacked flavor. The chicken was dry, and the seasoning was bland, which was surprising for a place that claims to specialize in peri-peri.
The staff didn’t seem very attentive or welcoming, and we had to remind them twice about our drinks. Honestly, it felt like they just didn’t care. For the price, I expected much better quality and service. Definitely not...
