Starting with food: Ordered French toast, ended up getting two thick pieces of bread completely dry from the middle. French toast should be soaked fully in the egg batter before being fried/grilled. Spoke to the chef and he said did you want it wet or dry? Wasn't told about wet or dry during ordering but this is irrelevant as food should stick to the recipe.
Service: One thing that is frustrating probably everywhere in tanzania is lack of any understanding by the wait staff. Asked to bring the coffee with the food but was served straight away. Secondly, my advice is to instill confidence in the staff that if they dont understand something then instead of just saying yes yes yes they should take a moment to think of what has been asked and if unsure go check or bring their manager to fully understand. This reduces misunderstanding.
