Me and my wife visited Zein Cafe Coco Beach on a Sunday over a week ago, and the place was extremely busy. While deciding where to sit at the entrance, the lady serving us seemed impatient and visibly annoyed that we took a minute or two to decide.
When she served us at the table, her attitude gave the impression that she didn’t really want to be there. We had to order without being shown a menu or prices, which was surprising, and the food seemed expensive but we went ahead anyway.
We ordered 30 mishkaki, but when the food arrived, it was served cold despite how busy the place was. We ended up paying and leaving.
Later, we went to another restaurant just a couple of shops down and ordered the exact same dish. To our surprise, we received 60 mishkaki for the same price we paid at Zein Cafe. The waiter there even explained that we must have been charged “tourist prices” at Zein Cafe. The service at the other restaurant was far better, and the food was served hot and fresh.
