The Riverside Restaurant Lampang — Restaurant in เทศบาลนครลำปาง

A very old and classic place in town. I’ve known about this place since I was young, from when I visited Lampang. It’s one of the first riverside restaurants here, and you can tell by the old-school décor and live music.

As for the food, their pizza is actually one of the recommendations. They even have a pizza oven on-site, and it tastes really good! I also enjoyed the other dishes I tried—nothing disappointed me.

The prices are reasonable, and you can even sit next...

I visited the Riverside Restaurant Lampang in January 2024. There is a decent selection of Northern Thai cuisine — I ordered the Burmese curry paired with a plate of white rice. The curry was ok.

IMO, the USP of Riverside Restaurant is its fantastic view of Wang River, especially during sunset. The colors at dusk were just magnificent!

Service staff were wonderful, attentive and helpful.

I asked for a vegetable Pad Thai with egg. I got a pad Thai with no egg. I asked again for an egg , to be told that "Pad Thai doesn't have egg"... apart from the fact it usually does, i was willing to pay more for an egg to be added. Apparently, that's preposterous. I also didn't have chili, vinegar or soy sauce, nor peanuts but these were produced one at a time upon request. The tofu also seemed a bit off. Very strange place, and a lot of money for...
