Eggplant Smoothie & Juice Bar Songwat — Restaurant in Chakkrawat Subdistrict

I recently stumbled upon Eggplant in Songwat, Bangkok when looking for a healthy drink to cool down on a hot day, and I was not disappointed. The shop is small and cozy, not trendily decorated but with a personal touch of the owner. I ordered the Blood Pressure Control juice, which is made with Thai orange (Thai oranges are quite different from my place, taste more like tangerines), passion fruit, apple and EGGPLANT (never tried eggplant juice before). It was surprisingly delicious and refreshing, and it gave me a much-needed energy boost. My friends were also satisfied with their orders. One more thing makes Eggplant a great choice to me is the owner. He is very helpful and he can help you find the perfect juice or smoothie for your needs. And it's so sweet of him to give me a 'Walk in Chinatown' guidebook as a gift. I enjoyed reading the book and it reminds me of him and Eggplant everytime I read. I guess I know what Thainess is now, thanks to nice people...

Atmosphere: nice atmosphere, music playing in the background but not the sort of music that makes me want to shove a hot hairpin into my ear canal. Nice temperature relative to the outside. Good seating, dubious amount of fake plants. Tables are a little small but its a juice place. 9/10

Actual drink: 10/10, I got the strawberry smoothie with yogurt, dad got the banana with yogurt. Very good, nice and refreshing and not super ridiculously cold, still cold though.
