TL;DR: If your taste palette is like basic westerners + you have time, eat here. If your taste palette is basic asian (even if you have time), don't eat here.
Went to Chatuchak on a Sunday afternoon (about 1pm-ish) and wanted to get Thai food for lunch. Saw this place being recommended on Google and decided to eat here.
Decided to order: Prawn Cake Sausage (which was recommended in the menu) Phad Thai Pork & Thai Basil Stir-fry with Rice (we added extra egg)
We waited for a long time (about 45mins) and the Prawn Cake was finally served. It was quite nice and we were very hopeful for the rest of the food to be served. And we were very wrong!!!
The Sausage that was recommended on the menu was Western sausage with fries, not those Thai sausages that we were hoping for. We didn't clarify so it's not the shop fault but it was just average sausage and fries????
Phad Thai was alright but it's very ketchup-y. The worst was the last to arrive - Pork & Thai Basil Stir-fry with Rice. The egg was cooked to the max. The pork didn't have any flavour to it. It was just disappointing.
We paid a total of 1,049baht (including 2x coconut water) which is just ridiculous. Each food was served after 10-15mins, just imagine 1st food arriving after 45mins from ordering, 2nd food arriving after 10mins, 3rd food arrive after 15mins and the last food arriving 5mins later.
Never coming back and never recommending this place to anyone, even to my...
Read moreMy dining experience at 345 by Yor Wor was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the long queue at peak time, the wait was absolutely worth every minute. The moment we took our first bite, we knew we were in for a treat and oh boy, the food quelled our hunger. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with an explosion of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail in every dish was evident. The chefs truly know how to create culinary magic! Food we had were Black Spaghetti with Special Seafood and Seafood Pad Thai. Best Pad Thai we ever had - so flavoursome. Highly recommend these 2 dishes.
The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, adding to the overall delightful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of even during the busiest times. It's clear that they are passionate about providing top-notch service and exceptional food. We were lucky to get seated in the aircon section that day, but they also got an open-air section outside with fans to help with the Bangkok heat.
In a world where quality dining experiences can sometimes be hard to find especially with Thai food in Chatuchak Market, 345 by Yor Wor stands out as a true gem. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates delicious food and excellent service. It's worth the wait, and we can't wait to return for another...
Read moreThis is not a place I’d recommend to anyone unless they have very low standards for Asian food. We ordered basil rice with pork, Pad Thai with fried chicken, and spaghetti with basil sauce (the most recommended dish on the menu). Unfortunately, none of the dishes lived up to expectations.
The basil rice with pork tasted bland and unseasoned, though the pork itself was decent. The noodles in the Pad Thai were overcooked and lacked flavor, but the fried chicken was the standout—crispy and well-done. The spaghetti with basil sauce, however, was a disappointment, tasting overwhelmingly of oil.
On top of that, we had to wait 40 minutes before any of the dishes were served. To make matters worse, we were so disappointed after our first bite that we didn’t even think to take photos of the food. While I understand that this restaurant aims to fuse Italian and Thai cuisine, the execution was poor. It felt like an insult to both cuisines rather than a celebration of their flavors.
The service was acceptable, but the food needs serious improvement. This is not a place I’d recommend unless major changes are made to the quality and flavour of...
