🤬😡🤬 I really don't recommend this place. Prices are 4-5 times more expensive, service is poor. Pass by this place. If you're hungry, there are cheaper and better places nearby.

I came with my family to the market to get some things, then we decided to eat and found this noisy place. At first I thought it was an ordinary food market with standard prices, like everywhere else in Thailand, but this is not the case.

I ordered regular rice with chicken (such food usually costs 40-60 baht) and my family had rice with shrimp, one serving for two and a smoothie. The portions are small so I left hungry. A woman stood next to us and guarded our table, probably afraid that we would run away. When I asked for the bill, I was surprised - 450 baht for everything. It's just being impudent. I didn't become greedy and paid. The woman didn’t even smile, she was waiting for payment with an angry and dissatisfied expression on her face. I think it’s not a Thai person, it’s a big shame to behave this way and take money from people so brazenly.

Thai food With signage Jae Waw beware!! We are Thai, ate a simple meal yet Jae Waw charged nearly 920baht. We asked about individual pricing, and then she told us rice with squid cost 100baht. But staff came by with the menu to show her 80baht. She pressed her calculator and told us 720baht. Even at 720, it's still expensive if by the menu. Jae Waw is the owner of the food shop yet don't know the price of her shop items. She calculate the bill by just clicking on her calculator, if it's tourist, I guess they will be conned. Everyone just beware of this Jae Waw shop. It may seem cheap to you as a tourist. But pay for what...

We knew it was a tourist trap, but had to try it out once. Within 1 minute after sitting down, the table next to ours got into an altercation with the staff over double charging, what a way to kickoff the dining experience!

Prices here are insane (150b for a Basil Rice, which is 3x the usual price), and touts just constantly upsell you.

Take note of prices when ordering, as we nearly got scammed. Their staff told us to pay 500baht when our meal was only 400 - a huge gross 25% markup and a poor attempt to scam the oblivious tourists enjoying their food. What a disgrace to the nice name of Thailand...
