Rywin Cafe — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Beyond amazing food is only surpassed by the wonderful people running the shop. My son and I went out exploring on a mission to find Khao Soi. After several failed stops at restaurants we saw the dish advertised here and went in. We took the food home and it blew our minds so the next night we brought the whole family. We were treated like old friends by the entire friendly staff who took such great care of us and ensured the food wouldn't be too spicy for our young ones. The meal was off-the-charts delicious and absolutely beautiful in presentation. My only regret is not finding this gem earlier in our stay in Chiang Mai! There is a reason every single review has been five stars...

📍 Easy to find as it's on a main street. 💁🏻‍♂️ Amazing service. The owners are incredibly kind. They didn't have enough change the 1st time we went so ended up giving us 20 THB more than they should've. We ended up eating there again a few days later to return the 20 THB that belonged to them :) 💲 Great value for money. The portions are huge! Walking in this restaurant was such an amazing an unexpected surprise!!! Qwan is an amazing chef and a super friendly and warm woman!!! What we ordered was absolutely delicious and the spices were combined with mastery in a way that was so elegant and tasteful without being salty. Prices also very very affordable. This woman could be working in a 5 star restaurant anywhere in the world. I also learned that she has cooking books and goes to Germany to teach cooking classes.
