An honest review from local: Not authentic at all.

We tried the green curry, papaya salad, and pad thai. The “best” dish was pad thai but still all the tastes were very mediocre. Came here as I saw A LOT of positive reviews but later realized its mostly from foreigners so wanted to give an honest review from a local vegetarian who grew up in Thailand.

Papaya Salad: The only pros about this dish is the feeshness of the papaya. Other than that, green beans were raw (not smashed even slightly) and the sauce did not have the thai palm sugar sweetness more like tomato juices mostly.

Pad Thai: The only “acceptable” flavor dish. The noodles were more on the undercooked side (a bit hard) and sauce was more on the bland side. They do put eggs and tofu, which is quite nice but flavor very underwhelming.

Green Curry: The coconut base is quite nice. But a bit too sweet and there’s a lot of random vegetable inside.

However, if strictly speaking of the food: I would NOT recommend if you want to have a nice, authenthic, vegetarian, thai food here.

The service and atmosphere is quite decent. But if the flavor, I really think there are a lot better options especially...

We got here & there was no sign of any staff so we awkwardly waited about for a good 10 or so min before someone came out to take a couple orders, they seemed to be understaffed & we were not in a rush so weren’t too fussed.

We ordered the spring rolls (forgot to take a pic), the massaman, some rice, a mango smoothie & a “lemonade” type drink which I forgot the name of.

The massaman was good, I’ve had much better but this did the job & was tasty. A couple things to note, it had pineapple chunks which was interesting & the pumpkin was undercooked. It was also a large serving so provided enough food for both my husband & I along with the other things we ordered.

The spring rolls came out last but were very delicious.

The mango smoothie was tasty, the lemonade drink not so much. Tasted like a soda water with a subtle lemon taste but was refreshing enough in the heat since we were seated outside.

Minimal ambience, very quiet. The outside seating was good as it was a bit removed from the inside which I think would’ve felt more awkward.

Food came out relatively quickly.

Home cooked food that nourishes the body and soul

The food here is great!

Home cooked without any msg with generous portions and beautiful presentation.

Over two meals, we had the tom yum soup, mixed red curry, Vietnamese pho noodles and my home away from home comfort food- potato salad, usually not found in an eatery here.

The tom yum soup was spot on with the right balance of coconut unami without being too spicy.

My dining companion says it's the best tom yum he's had in Thailand, no mean feat especially since he's not vegetarian.

Give the Vietnamese pho a miss unless you're on the mend from some digestive upset like I was because the other dishes are too good to miss!

That said, the pho came with two types of tofu - a very generous and thoughtful amount of protein.

Asians would appreciate the homemade chrysanthemum and basil teas, staples in this hot weather

Dishes arrived fast and service was politely unobtrusive but thoughtful.

Wish we had discovered this gem of a vegetarian eatery earlier so that we could sample more of their dishes.

We came back again...
