I came to this restaurant due to the amount of reviews and having a craving for dessert.

I ordered the mango sticky rice and a pineapple-guava juice. I originally asked for the Thai milk tea- no (low) sugar but the gentleman said that was not possible. Due to them probably prebatching the tea's, I ordered a juice.

The mango sticky rice is probably one of the better ones I had to far in Chiang Mai, yet it could have tasted a little creamier. They do serve a little side bowl of coconut milk with it. The juice tasted like a normal juice however the guava tasted not ripe. I've had tons of guavas in Latin america and Asia and this was the first time the juice tasted like unripe fruit.

In regards to the total rating I would have given them 3/4 stars untill I heard one of the servers (or the owner) state a comment to the table next to me when they took 10sec longer to order. "Don't you know how to order in your country or language, ugh". This table being occupied by another Asian ethnicity.

Having many years in hospitality and management I was a little shocked by that. You might not have treated me that way, but kind sir, there is no need to treat any of your costumers that way.

The restaurant was busy the entire time I was there, all dishes of everyone came out quite quickly and the place has plenty of staff working there for quick service. I do feel like this place is a little overhyped. For the mango sticky rice and the juice I...

Updated - came here for lunch and got a veggie tofu massaman and tofu veggie fried rice. I’ve definitely had better massaman as this was quite soupy. They also forgot the tofu in the rice initially so we had to give it back for them to add in. We also got a mango and strawberry smoothie which tasted like there could’ve been sugar in it even though we requested no sugar. It was also quite icy 🤷🏽‍♀️ The food was served extremely fast. Our tummies were a bit sore after, and after seeing some more recent reviews regarding the hygiene of this place, I’m wondering if that’s a contributing factor and have reduced our rating from 5 to 3 stars as our experience between the two visits was very different. My husband however did mention that his tummy was sore after the first visit too which I hadn’t realised when I initially posted the review. —————————————————— Found this spot on google which was a 13min walk from where we were staying - crazy busy spot with a queue & about 30 tables all packed with people. Pretty great vibes, all seating is outside in this sort of empty carpark looking space. Great service & ambience. We were third in line or so and got a table within 10min so the small wait was worth it. My husband & I both got the veggie khao soi with tofu and a mango sticky rice for dessert - both were extremely delicious & the total bill was only 180THB including a small bottle of water. An absolute steal. Would...

I had this place on my list before I even arrived in Thailand! The food was decent, but the service was embarrassing! First of all you are sat at a table with strangers. I ordered a CHICKEN khao Soi, and I PAID for a CHICKEN khao Soi, but that isn't what I received. I asked the owner if it was an egg that was in my dish as i was confused about what i was given, and she said,'No egg, that's mushroom'. You can clearly see from the photo that it wasn't mushroom. It's a bit shocking to say the least that the staff don't even know what's in the food. It was very cheeky that I didn't get the chicken I paid for. I think it was bits of egg and tofu. The flavour was nice, so I didn't cause a fuss. I then ordered a mango sticky rice to take away. There was no issue there. However, when I was waiting outside, as I was asked to, for my sticky rice, an American lady who came in earlier, also for mango sticky rice, was told she didn't pay the right amount and they demanded she pay more. She did pay the right amount as I was there when she ordered, and I watched her order and pay as I was still waiting for my food. The mango sticky rice was lovely. Based on my experience and the other ladies, it seems like they do little things here and there to get more money out of tourists. It was really unfortunate as the food was nice. It seems since they gained popularity, they also gained a...
