CHIT HOLE — ORIGINAL THAI CRAFT BEER — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

This is hands down the worst beer I've had in my life. I love Sapporo, Kirin, Chang, Taiwan Beer, Tiger, Guinness, Harp, all german beer and most american beer that's not a modern west coast IPA (which i never order but I don't find undrinkable). This Beer smelled like stinkwater and tasted like hotdogs, seriously gross. I took one sip and gave my glass to another patron who seemed to be enjoying himself since it cost $290 Baht for 1 pint (roughly $9 USD or 8 euros) which is insane for thailand. For reference chang beer (biggest beer company in Thailand) is ~60-70 baht depending on where you go

TL:DR, it's all in the name, shit beer...

This was honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a craft beer spot. The front door clearly says they open at 4:30 PM, so I showed up around that time. One guy was still setting up, so I waited outside for about 15 minutes. He completely ignored me the whole time, super unprofessional.

When I finally asked if they were open, he just said, “We open at 5”. Seriously? I told him the sign says 4:30, and he couldn’t care less. No apology, no explanation, just total disregard for people’s time.

Treat customers how you’d want to be treated. It’s not that hard.

I love this quant little brewery, especially their live music. Great beers as well. I just have one thing that I don't like. The beers are about $6 USD which is similar to what I pay in some breweries in the US, but it's not a pint. It's a 12 ounce glass at best and they give it to you with a fair amount of head. So about $6 USD for about 10 oz. I still come every night I am out but I just drink slow here or have a few beers first at the open market which is about 2.50 USD per beer and they also have live music. Besides that this is an awesome little place to hang and listen to some great live...
