It’s a gorgeous Plus, absolutely lovely staff sadly they serve their coffee lukewarm which is just revolting So today I skipped the coffee and just ordered a Benedict because all their food looks so beautiful. There was one other Customer at 9:30 on a Saturday morning and I started to think my Benedict was taking a very long time after 25 minutes.

When it did arrive a few minutes later, it looked fabulous but sadly upon starting to eat it, it was cold. I don’t mean not hot. I mean cold not even warm. It’s perfectly acceptable to par cook poached eggs and pre cook bacon and you can even pre-cook toast if you are expecting to be busy.(Having been a breakfast chef for the last 15 years I’m well aware of all sorts of tricks) But it is imperative if you are going to precook items that you reheat them for service, flash the bacon and warm the eggs in simmering water which only takes a minute. My breakfast items had been sitting on a bench for at least an hour if not two. Being charged above average prices the food served should be at the very least hot

When I complained that everything was cold I was met with a vacuous smile and ‘sooorrryyyyyy’ My disappointment is doubly felt as I live across the road and I wanted Fringe to be my go to place. I guess I will keep walking to...

I gave it two stars because the decor is very nice, but that’s where it ends. I was expected to order from a tablet sitting next to the front counter. The print on the tablet was so small that I could not read it. I had to keep pinching in and out to look at each item on the menu, all while standing at a counter. They have no printed menus and no QR Code to look at the menu on my phone. I don’t want to be forced to order while standing up. I want to be seated and look at my choices. Also, their listing on Google says they serve breakfast and that they have vegetarian options. There were only two breakfast plates to choose from, both of which had meat. They did say I could order without the meat, but then I’d be paying for expensive meat that I didn’t get or want. I really wanted to like this place but in the end I left and went...

My wife and I went here today to enjoy this place that was highly recommended by friends. Upon entering we witnessed two other American tourists who had made a purchase of 1 tea for only 90 Baht and wanted to break 1000 baht, the server returned only 10 baht.

They tried to get a hold of the owner who pulled up video which clearly showed them handing funds over but then insisted that another server had taken a different tray with only 100 baht.

The owner did not help them at all, they didn’t even get their drinks made for them. The staff and owner refused to help, more importantly the owner was just upstairs (not very hospitable).

My recommendation if you are a tourist is to avoid this place. The staff and owner will take advantage of you and not resolve the issue.
