Fastest sit down restaraunt ive ever been to. I think they had all dishes pre cooked. Our guide sat us down mumbled a bunch of orders and within 1 minute all of our dishes arrived. Its an open front dining area with no walls so pigeons were able to fly in and out. Only 2 or 3 kept searching by us but enough to make me lose my appetite. I have a fear of birds so it wasnt the best expwrience but still, food was decent for the price. 10 usd fed 3 adults easily.

Chiang Mai locals insisted I try Khao Tom Phatom, and although I missed the morning rush and arrived at noon, I wasn’t disappointed 🤣. This Teochew-style rice porridge joint serves a fantastic mixed vegetable stew, and so many yummy things. The porridge itself is sticky and delicious. The shop closes at 1:30 p.m., so it’s advisable to arrive before noon to avoid the crowds and ensure you get your preferred choices, as some items might run out.

Pra-Tom is one of the best local restaurants in Chiangmai that you should not miss it. They open at dawn and everything will be all sold out by noon. Make sure that you'll be there early. All menus here are supurb and can get along well with each others, just like they support on its taste which you will not recognize it untill you are about to order more rice. The price is cheap, and they serve quick. 👍

ถ้าคุณมาเชียงใหม่ ร้านนี้คือร้านที่ “ต้องมา” เพราะดับข้าวร้านนี้คงไว้ซึ่งรสชาติที่ไม่เคยเปลี่ยน อร่อยอย่างไรเมื่อหลายสิบปีก่อน วันนี้ยังอร่อยไม่เปลี่ยน ถ้า “ตำนาน” คือ “ความดีที่สั่งสมมา จนกล่าวกันเล่าขานต่อไป” ร้านนี้คือหนึ่งร้านในตำนานครับ “ข้าวต้มปฐม” รสชาติ “ของแท้” ที่ควรมาลองเมื่อคุณมาเชียงใหม่ เมนูแนะนำ: หมูเค็ม, ไก่คั่ว, กุนเชียงทอด, พะโล้ขาหมู (เต้าหู้/ กระเพาะ/ ลิ้น/ เลือด) จับฉ่าย, ต้มมะระผัดกาดดอง, ผัดมะเขือยาว ฯลฯ คืออร่อยทุกอย่างเมื่อทานกับข้าวต้ม ทานกับ “น้ำจิ้มสูตรแซ่บ” ไม่รู้ว่าส่วนผสมน้ำจิ้มนี้มีอะไรบ้าง แต่มากี่ครั้ง เหมือนเดิมทุกครั้ง เผ็ด, เปรี้ยว, เค็มกลมกล่อมกำลังดี เงยหน้าอีกที…. ถ้วยข้าวต้มและถ้วยข้าวเปล่า ซ้อนกันตรงหน้าราวกับกินแข่งชิงถ้วยครับ This is one of the best restaurant I want to share for tourists visiting Chiang Mai. I often have good breakfast at this restaurant for several years. The owner of this restaurant is very very friendly and so kind. He has founded this restaurant more than 30 years ago. Moreover, the menu is as same as the original one. I recommend you to taste Chinese recipes in the comfortable ambience with the reasonable cost. One of the most enjoyable things in life is to have a wonderfully delicious meal in companion feeling.

We stopped in while roaming Chiang Mai on foot. We noticed the place was completely filled with what appeared to be local folks, which we’ve learned to be a good sign! The “greeter” helped us out with the menu and directed us where to sit quickly and easily. The food was served incredibly fast, everything was very clean. We even forgot our cash at the hotel, and they were completely understanding.

Quick, quality and cheap meal. Thai-Chinese style of breakfast with boiled rice and several dishes. Their mixed veggie stew is the best in town! Cooked to tender veggie and aromatic soup with boiled pork skins altogether. The pork in brown sauce is also very good - best to go with their spicy & sour dipping sauce. Highly recommended!
