Been to the library at phuket a few times and enjoyed it so thought as I was at chiang mai I'd try it there with my thai friend. Big mistake from the off. Security rudely asked where you go when I tried to enter then begrudgingly stamped my hand. No tables available so after being ignored by table staff went to the bar and ordered a drink. Stood by a concrete pillar to watch the live music and within seconds a manager came up to us and spoke to my thai friend explaining we can't stand where we were even though we weren't obstructing anyone's view we had to have a table. I went there on 02/04/2024, I was practically stolen, I paid 1000 bath on a 79 bath beer and they returned me 20bath. When I saw the error at the time, I talked to the waitress who answered me. I went to the cashier and they took 30 minutes to find out the facts even with photos of the security camera proving that I paid 1000. My boyfriend and I visited One Nimman during our trip to Chiang Mai. We enjoyed exploring the flea market and discovered a bar on the premises.
