HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Even if you want to stay for longer period, it's suitable. Stay mid July 2025.
Location is really good. 2 mins walk from the beautiful clock tower. Owner and staff are super helpful and friendly. Plenty of car and bike rental, restaurants and massage within a 2 min radius.
Family room is huge, there is at least 10ft from end of bed to wall. A wardrobe, huge samsung Android TV, dressing table, shelves, side table. Bed is super comfy, towels, soap & shampoo provided. There is a balcony too.
Bathroom is huge as well with water heater and good pressure. AC is cold.
This is a budget hotel so there isn't any minibar but it has a kettle and sachet 3-in-1 free coffee. FREE Breakfast. Freshly baked bread, cold cuts, an egg, some salad, tonnes of fruits & coffee. Photo shows platter for 3 pax.
The family room is located at level 4, and other rooms on L3 & L4. Dorms on L2 and restaurant on Ground Floor.
There is a pool table that anyone can use. Restaurant (Irish bar) serves really good vegan burgers, they have 3 options.
Prices are very reasonable (I am Asian so, my budget isn't all that large :))
They have a lift but not suitable for people but you can have your luggage sent up with the lift.
Rooms and toilets are super clean which is a really important...
Read moreI had an incredible experience staying here and would rate everything 5/5! I booked last minute—just minutes before 8pm, which is the latest check-in time listed on Agoda—while on a bus from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, arriving at 5am the next day. Despite the late hour, Dennis, the owner, responded instantly and explained how I could check in on my own. To my surprise and delight, he was at the door when I arrived at 5:30am.
Dennis, originally from Germany, is such a kind and welcoming host. He even bakes the bread served to guests and restaurant customers. Breakfast is included, and it was absolutely amazing. It came with generous pieces of freshly baked bread, egg, salad, fruit, cold cuts, and coffee—a perfect way to start the day.
The atmosphere here is peaceful and relaxing, which made me decide to extend my stay for a much-needed rest day. The restaurant area is beautifully decorated with a charming European vibe, adding to the overall cozy experience.
Dennis’ hospitality, great conversation while he baked bread, and his attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Chiang Rai—you...
Read moreOn the 5th December, all the other nice cafes on the street were closed so we ended up here. Looking at the menu, the prices were extortionate but we had our big backpacks and we couldn’t be bothered to search for somewhere else. A big mistake. We ordered 2 coffees, a yoghurt bowl, and a chicken and cheese bagel. The yoghurt bowl came after about 15 minutes and was okay, but not worth 200 baht. Despite asking 3 times and waiting 30 minutes our coffee never arrived (despite only being an automatic coffee machine). After a 30 minute wait a very depressing looking bagel arrived, with barely any fillings and with no side salad in sight. I told the staff I wasn’t happy with the quality for the price (200thb). A minute later out marched the owner and almost instantly got angry with me, tried to defend the price and told me and my partner to leave… his parting words were ‘you should go back to your own country’ (despite the fact he himself is German lol). The owner is seemingly incapable of criticism and will probably reply to this review with...
