I ordered an ice latte and the bacon, egg and cheese bagel with extra jalapeños.
When I received the bagel I had 2 bites and thought it was missing something then looking at it I realized they didn’t add the cheese. I asked the staff and they took it away and brought it back, the same bagel with cheese added. Because it had been taken apart it was a mess, the avocado didn’t cover half of it and there was only 1 piece jalapeño on it.
I’m my opinion, if you make a mistake you should take care to fix it properly either by making sure what was left of my bagel was presented back well (ie. When I was served it back I was frustrated and asked for a new one which they did agree to but I decided that I didn’t want another one anyway, partly because I was frustrated so I cancelled the order.
Beyond my issue mentioned above, I thought the bagel was missing something, maybe a tomato relish or some kind of sauce. I also think the type of cheese used should either be a hard cheddar or cream cheese, as opposed to the burger style cheese you can see in the photo.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The staff, with their friendly demeanor, made me feel welcomed right from the start. The menu at The Hungry Nest offers a diverse selection of breakfast options, but their Egg Benedict was highly recommended, and I certainly understand why.
The presentation of the dish was visually appealing, with perfectly poached eggs resting atop crispy English muffins and topped with a smooth hollandaise sauce that was meticulously drizzled on top. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with the yolk oozing out once I cut into them, adding a rich and creamy texture to the dish. The English muffins were fresh and provided a nice crunch, perfectly complementing the silky texture of the eggs. The hollandaise sauce had just the right amount of tanginess, further elevating the flavors. The dish was also accompanied by a side of crispy bacon, which beautifully balanced out the richness...
Read moreI recently visited the Hungry Best Restaurant in Chiang Rai and had an amazing experience. One of the highlights of my visit was definitely the homemade bagels - they were some of the best I've ever had! The restaurant may be a bit touristic, and prices may be a bit higher than some other spots in the area, but in my opinion, it is definitely worth a visit.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made my experience all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal. I also appreciated the variety of dishes on the menu, which catered to a range of dietary preferences and restrictions.
All in all, I highly recommend the Hungry Best Restaurant to anyone visiting Chiang Rai. The homemade bagels alone are worth a visit, and the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere only add to the experience. Don't miss out...
