Surf and Turf Chiang Rai — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

GREAT place absolutely wonderful 10/10 no notes me and my man came here for steak it was WONDERFUL I even loved the salad and I’m quite picky about salad sauce etc, the steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare and rare) and were like a barbecue steak where it was crispy-ish on the outside and rare in the middle, and we had such a wonderful time! The staff were amazing!!! truly love them they were so nice!

although just a small note for anyone going it’s a smaller space with fewer staff and there’s definitely lots of people coming to get food, so we waited around 20-30 mins to get our steak which I personally wasn’t bothered about because they were definitely overloaded by customers- it was a great experience overall but if you’re the impatient type don’t come for dinner on a sunday evening 😂 The staff were lovely and had baby chairs out for a family with babies next to us, and kept apologising for the wait time and they were sooo accommodating!

Visited this restaurant on 25th January 2022. It is located close to the city center which is really convenient. I did have a small problem with the parking as there were no designated parking spot. I ended up paying 30 baht (~0.90USD) to park my car at the near by hotel parking lot. If you were to take a Grab car or taxi, there will be no problem as you can just stop right in front of their shop.

The menu is in both english and thai which is great for international customers.

We ordered the Fish and chips and Barramundi fish and the food was made by the owner of the restaurant himself. The food was great and we will definitely come back to try some other stuff on their menu. The fish and chips is 189 baht (5.72USD) and the Barramundi fish is 229 baht (6.94USD) which I think it's really affordable.

We did make small talk with the owner and he is a very friendly guy. Due to the covid situation, he is seeing lesser customers as that area is usually catered more to the international customers. I highly recommend people to give this restaurant a visit if you are...

I have been eager to try this restaurant for several months but due to Covid and other things, waited until today. We were the only patrons for a late (2:00pm) lunch. I hope they were busy for the normal lunch time because this place deserves it.

I ordered the one of the weekly specials, the Hawaiian Burger. I had an ample burger patty, 150g if I remember correctly, topped with lettuce, tomato, pineapple, cheese, and some kind of tasty sauce. It was tall and a bit difficult to eat due to its size but manageable when cut in half. It was delicious but I would have liked a thicker slice of pineapple, this is a Hawaiian Burger, after all, and the signature part of this kind of burger is the pineapple. Still, I would give the burger 4 out of 5 stars. It came with fries and they were also very good.

My wife ordered a pork chop from the regular menu and it sent her into culinary heaven as she savored every bite.

We were both quite filled and quite happy and plan to return many times...
