Incredible restaurant on the 10th floor of the Riverie hotel with spectacular panoramic views across the valley and to the Gudinnestatyn Buddha temple. The restaurant as a wonderful classic atmosphere with gentle live piano music and plenty of space between tables for dinners to enjoy themselves. Came with the girls and they enjoyed a pasta dish from the kid’s menu whilst I shared with my wife a series of excellent dishes. Starting with pan fried foie gras, seared Hokkaido scallops and a crab salad with mango salsa. All were exceptionally well prepared, but the mix of fried foie gras and caviar was my favourite. To follow we shared a grilled Chilean Snow fish and an Australian Wagyu striploin steak. The snow fish was new to me and quite simply one of the best fish dishes I’ve had in my life. Perfectly cooked the white fish melted in your mouth with a lovely fresh taste. Dessert was taken care of with a birthday cake prepared specially for my elder daughter’s birthday.
