it looks way kitschy with the big fiberglass crab over the entrance. the dining room is rustic.

the seafood is the focus which is not reflected in the we-have-it-all menu. the execution is awesome and authentic.

the simple bbq shrimp is terrific, big shrimp, done perfectly - moist and firm. the green basil pesto-y dipping sauce is a must.

the shrimp mango salad was explosive.

mud crab in red curry was equally good. the rices noodles on the side served in twirled bundles are perfect to dip into the curry. omg.

the steamed sea bass in thai style lemongrass and basil was very good but got out-shined by the three other dishes.

laab chicken and basil chicken are very good renditions of the classics. pungent.

the pad thai was disappointing…perfectly fine but outshined.

the staff is super gracious and attentive, considering the busyness of the place.

on this trip we ate there twice for dinner and even took takeaway for the airport on...

The owner should really consider changing the manager - the rudest customer service in Phuket. No greetings, no smiles, no attentiveness. I'm not asking for special attention, but one could just treat other people with respect and smile; especially, this is a restaurant. Customer service should be number 2 priority. Number one is, of course, food, and it was served fast and delicious - that's why I give this place at least 3 stars. The dishes are from 100 - 300 THB, so our lunch bill for 4.5 people was 1000THB. I asked if crab curry would be not spicy, and the waiters said yes, not spicy. The most spicy dish I've tried, but I blame the waitress, as she warned my dad about his dish being spicy...

Passed by many times and finally get to dine here! Came here just for the crab as it is shown on their main entrance. Ordered a small to medium 600g mud crab cooked in Thai red curry sauce served with rice vermicelli as recommended by the staff. It was spicy and rich just the way i like it, very satisfying meal indeed. Price is slightly on the high side. 1kg mud crab = ฿1,700, mine was 600g = ฿1,020 (As of Nov 2024) Came at 8pm and got a table without reservation. The staff are super attentive and kept checking on me and other customers. Complimentary fruit slices when seated. I do recommend if you are looking for a nice ambience and satisfying seafood meal.
