This is definitely my favourite restaurant in Phuket to enjoy a delicious Russian meal 😍 This time I came was to celebrate Russian Orthodox Christmas dinner with a group of friends, and we have 15% discount + Buy 1 Wine Glass Get 1 Free ✌🏼 Here are my favourites!
‘𝗦𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱’ or ‘herring under the fur coat’ - a colorful salad made from layers of beetroot, mayonnaise, potatoes and pickles finished with herring fish. It’s not just beautiful, it’s deliciously composed in a bowl ❤️
‘𝗕𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗰𝗵𝘁’ - one of the most popular Russian dish that is sweet, sour and brilliantly red! - made using beetroot, served with sour cream. Here, the chef has managed to create the perfect sweet and sour balance, that is light-tasting; tastes very home-made. I ❤️ the borscht here!
‘𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝘆𝗲’ 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 - potatoes, carrots, green peas, eggs, onions, chicken, brined dill pickles, mayonnaise; every bite is a burst of flavours from the different ingredients 💥
‘𝗩𝗼𝗱𝗸𝗮’ Snack - a sharing platter, I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavours. For those of you who are not big fans of fish, this will be a love-or-hate dish. For me, this is the dish you’ve got to try at least once to experience a Russian appetizer platter.
𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 - sliced chicken baked under a scrumptious layer of potato, onion and mayonnaise ... with 🧀 on top! For some of you, this may be too filing or carb-heavy .. but if you love potatoes . . . you won’t share this 🤣
Also had 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀 with cheese, mayonnaise, garlic & fresh herb stuffing • 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘁 salad • 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗭𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶 🍴
Great service, chic interior and cozy space - highly...

Last night we decided to try out this restaurant, a big mistake 🤢 We got food poisoned really hard, puking and running to the bathroom all day. Feel feverish and laid in bed all day, hoping we feel better before our flight tomorrow. We ordered steak with salade and French fries and a milkshake. Upon arrival the steak looked nothing like the picture from the menu, two small, grey pieces of meat, looked like it had been boiled but learned it was microwaved. The fries came after the meat was eaten, pale and limp as noodles, also microwaved. The milkshake was room temperature and runny. One other person in our group ordered salmon and once again, they microwaved the fish as well. When complaining about the food the person in charge was rude and refused to compensate us in any way besides giving us a cold milkshake. I heard this was a popular restaurant but I think the food quality depends on the traffic and time of day....
Read moreI recently had a terrible experience at Spice House. Despite being told that they did not take reservations when we called ahead, we found several tables marked with "reserved" signs upon arrival. The food we ordered was absolutely terrible. Every dish was slimy, overcooked and seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. Even the milkshakes we ordered were undrinkable, as it had no ice cream in it. Milk + shake = milkshake? When we asked for a refund, the staff became extremely hostile, refusing to compensate us for the poor quality of the food and even calling us ridiculous. To top it all off, one of our party fell ill with food poisoning from the steak, which ruined his last day in Phuket before his long flight back to Norway. I will never return to this restaurant again and recommend making your own borsch at home instead.
Also what’s up with the no vaping sign outside but cigarettes...
