Bawarchi Porto De Phuket — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

I visited this restaurant a week ago and my experience was not great unfortunately! I have ordered for Tandoori pomphret which was a totally flavourless fish dish i ever had. I have realised that the fish wasnt cooked properly when i was unable to seperate the meat from the bone half way through and upon paying attention, the meat at that part was completely raw! The staff had least empathy and doesnt want to take any feedback. The price I paid was returned after asking for it but with alot of hesitation and obvious facial expressions advising me that i ate half of the fish. They didnt want to hear anything as my amount was returned and kept shutting me off when tried to provide feedback. I wouldnt regret paying full price only if they acknowleged the bad experience i had and let me express my feedback as their customer for that night which did not happen ! Its a NO GO for me...

We stumbled upon Barwachi the day after it opened and were greeted by the lovely managers!

The next day, we came here for dinner and ordered:

Paneer tikka masala Dal Degchi Bharwaan aloo Some naan and jeera rice

It was one of the tastiest meals I’ve had in Phuket and I’m still thinking about the incredible Bharwaan aloo with a perfect blend of spices and potato!

The paneer tikka masala was divine and they served a generous portion of it. The dal was traditional and authentic, while the jeera rice was full of flavour.
