I initially came here for dinner to try the cuisine with the intention to book their Thai cooking class. The location is a bit tricky to park at, but once you’re inside the ambiance and protected street view makes it feel tucked away and private.

The owner and staff are very hospitable and friendly. It is family-owned and apparent they take pride in their restaurant as it is very presentable and clean.

After eating the green curry for dinner on a Sunday, I booked a 4-course cooking class for Tuesday mid-day to avoid the meal-rush times. The chef laid out all the ingredients on the table and went through each dish individually when we cooked them.

During the 1.5 hours, we cooked Tom Yum, Phad Thai, Massaman Curry, and Black Pepper Chicken Soup. Knowing the ingredients of each dish was enlightening to the fact that everything is made fresh, healthy, and low-sodium. I’m guessing the poor reviews from others are more accustomed to extra salt, so I understand why their reviews reflect their experience of the taste. I appreciate the fact that they omit a lot of salt in the dishes and rely on fresh herbs and spices to bring flavor and life to their dishes.

The experience was one of my favorites I’ve had in Thailand over the past 3-months, and now I have 4 new dishes that I can add to my repertoire!

We are extremely greatful for the unique and amazing experience ❤️ whole cooking class was private and made personally for us - completely different than in other companies. The chef was not only highly skilled but also incredibly passionate about food, which made the entire lesson both fun and informative. The way he explained each step in the cooking process was clear and easy to follow, and their tips and tricks were incredibly helpful. Mr Tik told us his history - he worked as a cook for many years and taught us even the art of food carving. I especially appreciated his patience and encouragement, making everyone feel comfortable and confident in the kitchen. This restaurant was only a few minutes walk from our villa. Reviews here were really good so I ordered a few dishes and had a beer with my daughter while we waited. We had a really warm welcome and despite the restaurant being very quiet the ambience was really nice. When I got back to our villa, I realized that they had forgotten to give me one of the curries I had ordered. I found their number through Facebook and gave them a call and of course it was a little difficult because of language but they knew straight away why I was calling.
