Blue Parrot Bangkok — Restaurant in Chong Nonsi Subdistrict

It's a nice place with a warm pool. A bit away from everything and hard to find, but the reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because of the clientele, which will of course vary day by day.

When we arrived two families with small children were playing in the pool as if it were their personal pool. This continued for the entire time (2+ hours) we were here, jumping, splashing, yelling, and filling it with dozens of their toys. After an hour, I went to sit in one corner to read and they got so close to me that they were touching me! They continued to splash, throw things, and scream. I didn't want my phone to get wet, so I moved to another corner and they followed me. I looked to their parents in the hopes they would intervene, but they did not.

I've had a young child at a community pool, and I always taught her to be considerate and respectful of others, especially not to scream and splash around adults who were reading/trying to relax.

As this is my first time here, I'm not sure if this is a rare occurrence or if this happens all the time. The only thing I can think of is for the restaurant to have adult-only times.

A shame as the place is cute and I would have loved to read and relax in the pool but was unable to do so.

Just left here. We have been in Asia for 2 weeks and I REALLY desperatly needed a western meal. I LOVE Asian food, but my tummy was craving western food SO BAD. We found this place online. To be honest I was a little concerned about it being SO kid friendly. Nothing against children of course but as parents of 5 kids on a kid free vacation I just didn't know if I wanted this type of environment. We picked a good time to go. We were the only customers. And it's easy to take a look at the restaurant and see of its a good time for you to go as well. Be it because you want kids there or because you dont. Now onto the food. DELISIOUS!! It absolutely hit the spot! Lunch for 2 people and 2 mango shakes was 1030 bhat. That is of course more than you would spend at a street vendor but this isn't street vendor food. It is excellent quality, excellent flavor, excellent staff and a beautiful backyard feeling environment. It is very welcoming and feels like being home. And to be honest, if it had 50 kids in it, I would go in for the food...

First of all I want to say that I am a Thai and this is my first time with customer review.I went last Monday tho I ordered Flank steak without mushroom because I am allergic with mushroom eventho i spoke with thai language.
