This review was for Akart Day, the coffee shop under Akart area.
Today's service (after better-covid situation) is thumbs down and worse than before despite the good quality of coffee+food.
It s not the place where I feel it cozy anymore. Understand of the 2-hr sitting but the manner of one of waiter was bad in communication. (No intention to sit for that long though.) Not even sure he communicates it out to every customers or picks someone to communicate with the discriminated attitude. If it s been fully communicated to "every" customers that would be no blaim except the way how he "communicated" Last shot was on billing part. It is ok to communicate that it is cashless policy which is acceptable and we do it all around as general practice already. But the timimg he picked to communicate was so bad. When I just picked up my purse , just to pulled out the credit card, the waiter just rushed to say we accepted no cash... (but they accept for credit card though... how irony that would be ... and the way that waiter was too fast to judge someone...)
There are too many ways to communicate rather than just to say sth that judge the other of the actions...
Feel disapppointed ... the place where I used to visit regularly every weekend ... either for take-away or sit-in... but i guess there s the time to stop...
Read moreThis pet-friendly casual restaurant with an eclectic menu may deserve a few visits to truly sample all that they have to offer, but this temptation is slightly marred by the overall average taste of the food.
Our group of five had Beetroot Soup, Truffle Soup, Garlic Bread, Manila Clams, Calamari, Classic Caesar Salad, Truffle Pinsa, Alfredo Tagliatelle, Pork Bolognese Lasagna, and Chicken Massaman Curry. Plus drinks. While not bad overall, neither did any one dish stand out in terms of taste.
While it was a fun night out, for the price we paid, I wish the food could have been a bit better. Certainly it was not bad. Probably the most interesting dish was the pinsa - it is the cousin to the well-known pizza, but made with a much healthier dough mix, hand pressed, and cooked at a lower temperature.
I would probably visit again if I were in the area. And I would likely sample more of the Thai menu instead of the Italian dishes, simply because there are so many Italian restaurants in Bangkok but there are a few that serve really good Italian food. Also, for some reason there are tacos on the menu.
It's worth nothing, however, that the restaurant has both a private room and a private floor that can be reserved, which...
Read moreThis place used to be super crowded and people came for a photoshoots. Now the place is surprisingly quiet.
My latest experience there was not quite pleasant though the food are good.
there is a sign around the place to prohibited the customer to do many stuff with a fine. I found it mean for the restaurant owner to do such a post like that (see the photo I shared from the toilet mirror)
The staffs (3 of them) are looking like an active listener on the conversation I had with my friends there. It causes an awkward moment.
the menu is inserted into a flimsy sheets which make it supeyhard to read in the...
