I booked using an app which gave 25% reduction, but I didn't expect that mean the 5 star hotel service would also be at a 25% reduction

I will start by saying maybe they were under staffed tonight.

We ordered a couple of dishes that were served quickly.

Then things started to go down hill.

Next, a few things from the chef recommends table top menu looked good, so we ordered then from a passing server.

That order seemed to be taking a while which is understandable as they are not on the main menu

So while we were waiting, I tried to order a few other small dishes which took about 10 minutes to catch someone's attention with a POS device in her hand. I ordered a few tempura dishes.

Now our table is empty, so we asked about the chef's menu items. 5 minutes later a dish we never ordered arrived, so we sent it back.

Then a maki roll one of our party had ordered arrived with another surprise maki on the same plate.

A while later, after receiving no food, we asked again about the orders from the chef's menu. A while later the same un-ordered dish from above can't to the table. Again it was turned away.

While this was hoping, one of our party who had a cold ordered the "hot red beans" as it was one of the few things she could eat.

After having to remind the waitress yet again about an unfulfilled order, the red beans were served fresh from the fridge. Perfect for someone with a cold.

Nearly the same thing happened with the miso soup (2 or 3 reminders) but at least that was hot. Then 10 minutes later another bowl turned up,so I guess the first order just got delayed. I feel bad about complaining about that!!!

While all of this was happening, we had a table directly behind us that had paid their bill and left. They left a table full to the top with empty plates and glasses. Those plates and glasses stayed next to us for the next hour or so. Which created a real 5 star ambience.

To add further to this ambience, there was some background music playing. Unfortunately, it wasn't background, and was quite intrusive. The sound quality was downright poor at best (I would have thrown the speakers away if they were in my house) and the choice of music would have suited an 80's Japanese Jean shop.

We eventually got 1 dish from the chef's menu, but at that point no one wanted to eat it.

We gave up on the other dish.

Apart from all that the food we got was okay.

the foods range from good to great. beef and baked oyster/mussel are good. wagyu is good but forced as sushi(with rice) and the actual beef is thinner than banana peel.. sashimi are good (fresh but nothing special, same grade as Fuji and Zen) and some (sea bass) are out of stock.

milk and cheese pudding is amazing yo!! foie gras nigiri is great but limited (2/person)

the servers/staff are okay. lots of reviews said the servers were slow and it was hard to make an order. Our experience however was good. the servers were responsive and check to refill our drink regulary. they were polite and friendly. We went right at the opening time at 18.00. so either the timing was good or they improved from the bad reviews.

complaint some orders were quite slow. some of hot dishes came .. not hot, not warm..it's just below room temperature. Imagine beef, duck teriyaki or baked oyster (even grilled cheese top) or grilled salmon belly or grilled mushroom or grilled shrimp served at room temp. i mean they tasted and cooked just fine.. But WHY and How?? What is going on? the first plate of teriyaki came warm yet the second came cold. was it bad luck? 5 dishes came cold? Such inconsistency shouldnt occur at this price and this standard? that really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. i felt all my positive feeling drained away as i was slowly chewing that cold beef teriyaki (and some other mentioned dishes).

At least the milk cheese pudding was great.

if not for the complaint i would have given it 4 out of 5. -good food(100+ dishes), -no time limit buffet, -good atmosphere (rather calm and good for business talk or just to relax), -nice servers -okay price for a no-time-limit buffet and good food with this many dishes/choices (1166 bht/person).

if you dont mind the price, it's good place to dine. if you are looking for something special or stuff like premium sashimi i would suggest somewhere else.

for my complaint, i'm not sure it's just my luck or not. so please take it with a grain of salt and check other reviews for the...

For 1200 NETT for all-you-can-eat, this sushi spot has both hits and misses. While the service is outstanding—quick and attentive—the overall food experience falls a bit flat in terms of taste and quality. The menu boasts a wide range of popular Japanese dishes, from sushi to ramen and takoyaki, catering to various cravings.

However, the sushi itself didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of freshness and flavor, which is a letdown for a sushi-focused experience. If you're someone who loves to indulge and doesn't mind sacrificing quality for quantity, this could be a fun place to explore.

On a brighter note, the dessert menu is a highlight! The ice creams are particularly delightful, making it a must-try. Be sure to save some space to indulge in the sweet offerings—it's the best part of the meal! Overall, a decent option for casual dining, but a sushi enthusiast may want to...

I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant yesterday during weekday lunch. Initially, the food service was a bit slow, but acceptable. However, subsequent orders were consistently incomplete, with items missing every time. Despite following up 3-4 times, we only received sashimi from our later orders. I suspect the issues stem from poor management. Staff took orders inconsistently, sometimes writing them down and other times using iPads. This seemed to cause significant disorganization when the restaurant became busy. Oddly, "à la carte" items were served quickly, which was quite peculiar given the other delays. The food quality was average, reflecting its price point. Overall, I wouldn't recommend dining here during prime time. I definitely won't be returning.

Excellent food quality. Efficient and dedicated service. Friendly staff. Spacious seating area. Cozy environment. The main menu offered 101 dishes for customers to select. There was an additional menu of another 12 Thai Japanese fusion dishes. Matcha, soft drinks were unlimited and included in the price. I particularly liked Salmon spicy salad, Australian beef sushi, baked oyster with Japanese mayonnaise, salmon Sashimi, soft shell crab salad, kaisen teppanyaki, green tea ice-cream with red beans mochi soy milk dessert and ginger ice-cream. The price per head for all you can eat was a real deal. Got 20% off using a booking app was another attractive added value. This restaurant is highly recommended and it's on my list of re-visit each time in Bangkok.
