I'm commenting as a corporate business traveller who arrived late evening after a long day of travel. In the final analysis, if it was personal money being used, I would not stay here. Although staff for the most part were friendly, there are some reasons business travelers should look for a better option if available. First I had to deal with my room being occupied by someone else even at my check-in time of 10.30pm, meaning a return to the front desk to have to change my room. An upgrade was provided quickly, but I received no explanation or apology from the front desk staff. (The bell boy however was very apologetic, and did an excellent job). To prep for work I requested an iron and ironing board, but was told this was not allowed, and if I wanted to get my shirt ironed I would have to use laundry services (at some cost I presume) which would take a full day. Although the upgraded room was large and spacious, with excellent air conditioning, the amenities provided were old, as was the decor. Toothbrush sets were so old the toothpaste had become solid, and when could be used tasted bitter and "off". Finally, the chair at the work desk gave off a pungent odour of sweat, so I had to quarantine it in a far corner of the room. Positives included recently upgraded conference facilities, very helpful conference team staff, a decent buffet breakfast with freshly cooked eggs, 30-60 minute access to Suvarnabhumi airport, a convenience store opposite the hotel, and a nearby shopping center ("The Street") with a...
Read moreThe hotel was closed during the onset of the pandemic and was only recently re-opened in November. The price was really great at just below THB1K but most of the hotels in Thailand are already slashing their prices with the current situation. No breakfast was included unlike in the past.||The room was spick and span and everything was almost in working order. The only interesting thing which amused us is that the light at the dressing table has to e switch on before there's power from the wall socket. The carpet in the common corridor should really be replaced as the moldy smell was noticeable the moment we opened our door. We can see that the staff was already busy cleaning up the rooms and moving beds and other stuff into other rooms. There wasn't much guests, at least not many foreign ones as some were police officers who were staying probably due to the proximity of the nearby police station.||There's a 7-11 near the hotel as the one opposite the hotel had fell victim to the pandemic. So are the massage parlors that used to be around the hotel. Just outside the MRT station you can find one of the surviving ones which is a short distance walk away. There seems to be less taxis plying the street outside the hotel as the porter had to ran to the main road to get one in. If you can, download the Grab app and use it to hail a car or taxi will be much easier.||Overall we were rather happy with the stay though we would prefer the water pressure in the shower to be stronger else almost everything...
Read moreI would like to express my concerns regarding my stay at your hotel on February 6, 2025. Below are the details of the issues I encountered: I arrived at the hotel and checked in around 2:00 PM. The male receptionist, who was wearing a suit and appeared to be middle-aged, confirmed my booking and mentioned the payment for the deposit. However, I did not hear or confirm the type of bed, and I did not specify my preference. I intended to have a single bed, but I was given a room with a double bed instead. When I requested a change, the receptionist informed me that no rooms were available. Additionally, the power outlet near the mirror was not working. When I opened the curtain, I could see the hallway, which made me feel a lack of privacy. The room also had poor soundproofing, as I could hear Chinese-speaking guests walking by and talking outside the room. I am very disappointed with my experience at your hotel, and I regret my decision to stay here. The stay did not meet my expectations, and I hope you will address the issues I have raised. I look forward to hearing back from you and receiving clarification or an...
