Meals n' Bites @ JP's — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

What a great little restaurant with authenic Thai dishes. We ordered four different dishes and everything was delicious but the Cashew Chicken was something else and one of the best I have had in Thailand. The owners are very nice and the price is great. Will be back before I leave Kanchanaburi.

Edit: we came back and this time tried the Chicken in green curry and Coconut and the honey glazed Chicken and we ordered the Cashew Chicken again of course. After reading the reviews on Google, I had to try this place, even though it was a 25 minute walk from where I was staying. Definitely worth it. The popular dish chicken in fish sauce is actually mainly in honey sauce with a little bit of fish sauce. It's amazing, and talking to the very friendly owners, they are going to rename the dish to Chicken in honey sauce. Regardless I would recommend trying it, and it goes perfectly with Som Tum. While the food was very good and the owner was nice, unfortunately we had an overall bad experience due to the extreme slowness of the service. We came for dinner with young kids when the restaurant was full (6 tables), and while the owner did say it would take some time to get food out we didn't imagen that we will wait more than an hour. Eventually, we had to ask to cancel our last dish as it was getting very late.
