99 Seafood Karon Beach — Restaurant in Karon

We stopped into 99 Seafood in Karon with what we thought was a very simple order: chips, a club sandwich, and noodles. Nothing complicated, and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy — around 20 customers in total, with many already eating. There were two waiting staff and one person on the till, so we assumed everything would be straightforward.

However, after 30 minutes of waiting with no update, I asked the waiter where our food was. He spoke to the other staff, giving the impression it was being sorted. But 10 minutes later, still no food, no explanation.

At that point, we gave up, paid for our drinks, and left hungry and frustrated.

This is without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced. We were completely ignored, and our time was wasted. There are plenty of great places to eat in Karon — I strongly recommend choosing...

We had dinner at 99 Seafood in Karon, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Although the prices were a bit higher than some other restaurants in the area, the portions were generous and the restaurant itself was noticeably cleaner and better maintained. As often happens in Phuket, the service was a bit unorganized, and one downside was that several street vendors came into the restaurant trying to sell flowers or souvenirs while we were waiting for our food — which disrupted the atmosphere a little. Шли сегодня, искали где покушать, увидели вроде неплохое место, просторный зал, столы из слэбов. Жена заказала салат с лососем жареным за 300 батат-такой он красивый был на картинке! Я заказал морепродукты в кисло-сладком соусе тоже за 300. Блин, тут всегда везде огромные порции, но это смех! Мои морепродукты в тарелочке-типа селедочницы, где три креветки и кольца кальмара и кусочек щупальца осьминога! Такие блюда на Карон 150-200 стоят объёмом солидно больше. Жене принесли салат с 4 слайсами лосося, ну тупо тонкие кусочки. Зову мадам, давай, говорю, смотри на фото в меню и на тарелку. Где лосось? Она так невозмутимо-это тоже самое! Я говорю мне нужен кусок, а это слайсы, та включает дурочку. Ну, говорим, есть это не будем, рассчитайте нас. Засветилась, мол, пару минут подождите. В итоге принесли салат с красивым куском лосося как на картинке. Вроде было и неплохо на вкус, но осадочек нехороший. В общем, однозначно, место...
