extremely bad service! waitress had obviously no clue about english menu. she couldn’t seperate starters/ main course, brought still water instead of sparkling water. sparkling water does not exist she said after asking again. another person brought finally the correct water. but we used it for the horrible white wine. papayasalad was just like nothing, not spicy. we received one main course first with a starter, later we received the other maincourse and finally the second starter. my scampi shrimps were great, my partner’s fish was soaked with oil, we complaint and waitress smiled back and gave a sh.. about it. we gave it entirely back - just inedible. no one asked if the food was good, no one offered anything else to eat. we complained twice about the fish, no reaction. at the cashiers desk we complained again about the oil soaked (bbq fish), reaction: ooh. nothing else. 1800 baht is not expensive if i compare to my homecountry, it is a bit expensive here in thailand …. but for 4 menus- 1 very good, 1 just ok, 1 bad and 1 inedible …. sorry, but...
Read moreThis shop is located just opposite Karon Beach, separated by a street, so the transportation is relatively convenient. Overall, I would give it four stars. For the food, also four stars. The dishes are quite normal; they're not particularly impressive, but not bad either. In terms of service, the staff are very friendly. They greet you when you enter, and they won't disturb you while you're eating. When you leave after finishing your meal, they say goodbye. The ambiance is also very nice, with mostly foreigners dining there. Besides the food, I also ordered a bottle of Heineken beer. Unfortunately what I remember most is the staff treatment of the fresh sea food. Whilst I understand the importance of seafood to this area, I did not expect it held like a toy by the customer, and to be 'ended' in a way that included being hit with an instrument and thereafter trying to crawl out of the shallow tray for 10 minutes.
