If Dante had written a tenth circle of Hell, it would be modeled after Kata Walking Street Night Market. Imagine walking into what you think will be a charming Thai night market, and instead finding yourself in a bizarre parallel universe designed exclusively for Russian tourists with zero chill and an intense need for neon tank tops.

The air is thick—not with the scent of delicious Thai street food—but with overpriced fake sunglasses, mango smoothies that taste like regret, and the lingering aroma of someone else's armpit brushing past you for the fifth time in two minutes. Privacy? Personal space? Concepts not recognized here.

Searching for authentic Thai food here is like trying to find a unicorn in a strip mall. Every stall is shouting at you in Russian, serving "Thai" food that suspiciously tastes like microwaved despair. Locals look just as confused as you are. I swear I saw a tuk-tuk driver praying for divine intervention.

And the crowd? Oh, the crowd. Shoulder to shoulder with folks who behave like they’re on an all-inclusive cruise ship that crash-landed in a souvenir stand. I was bumped, elbowed, and stared down like I had wandered into Mother Russia with a bottle of vodka and no invitation. Even Vladimir Putin would’ve said, “Too many Russians.”

By the end of the walk, I wasn’t sure if I needed a beer, a hug, or an exorcism.

Verdict: If you enjoy chaos, disappointment, and hearing “cyka blyat” more than “sawasdee ka”, this is your Disneyland. Otherwise, save yourself the existential crisis and go literally anywhere else...

I was at the steak bar. Ordered and paid and was told to sit down. He would remember me and bring me my food. You can supposedly sit wherever you want. He sat you do not need an number. Over half an hour passed by. I want to the stall, I look at the grill and there was… nothing. I was surprised what happened to my order. He looked surprised at me and asked me what I want. Then he seemed to remember, put a new steak on the grill (mine was gone) and told me again to wait.

At that point I was not sure I was getting scammed. But surprisingly I received my order. The steak was mediocre, the fries were cold and chewy, the salad was dry and entirely without an dressing.

The whole experience definitely was not worth the money and I will not go...

Well organised layout of food and beverages at the various stalls, extremely economical food especially the Shrimps, Pork and Beef steaks, chicken made in traditional Thai style and Red Snapper grilled (Full Fish) for just 100BHT.

Outside food and alcoholic beverages are strictly not allowed here unless you want to sneak it in and pay a price for it.

We loved the food area on the left side (All the way inside the walking street and then left ).

This place gets over crowded by 8.00 pm so be ready for a tussle with customers to get a place to sit.

Don't bargain as the food is rather cheap and prices are fixed, do not tip the staff as it's insulting, instead put your tips on the Tip Tree kept on that street....
