The Twinseafood is absolutely exceptional in all aspects - a definite hidden gem wedged in between 2 other seafood places (make sure to go to the middle one, and make sure to aim for the red signboard!)
Let's start with food and pricing: The seafood was fresh, the fish (even though we ordered the small) was large enough to fill more than 2 people. The grilled squid was awesome as well. Given the pricing for these items were up to weight, I was initially a little apprehensive with regards to ordering them as I've had bad experiences with that, but the staff will weigh the fish in front of you and quote you a price - I think that's pretty fair and reasonable, and the pricing is significantly cheaper than anywhere I've eaten in Singapore in terms of seafood. Thai food is an absolute must to order here, if you're ordering the western menu then I think you'll miss out on the true strength of this place.
service: very good, the service staff is attentive and warm, and will ensure you feel comfortable and welcomed. They served us a plate of watermelons on the house, and I sincerely appreciate these small gestures.
If you stay in Karon, do pay this place a visit if you're craving good value Thai seafood. They deserve...
Read moreTo taste authentic Thai Cuisine, you must visit The Twins Seafood Restaurant which is at Karon Phuket. They welcomed us with fresh fruits 🍉. Customer service was amazing, they explained each and every dish which we asked for, politely with big smile. We tasted atleast one dish in each category and all the food served are fresh and authentic. The food service time was quick and presented well. The main highlight was the BBQ grill, wherein we cooked our own soup and grilled some fresh seafood. Language is not a barrier when it comes to food❣️ Can still feel the hospitality they showered on us. Met the owner and chef of the restaurant to thank her personally for the awesome food, she is a down to earth person who cooks food by herself for all the orders. We all wanted to visit Phuket again just to taste your restaurant food. Lots of love from a foodie family from...
Read moreThe food was really nice but we were a bit surprised by the price of the lobster. I’ve never had lobster in Thailand before so didn’t know exactly what to expect in terms of price. There is no price in the menu for the lobster so I asked the waitress. She wrote the price on a piece of paper and showed it to me. She wrote it as I’ve written it in the attached photo. I interpreted it as 540 but when the bill arrived it was 1540. So when I asked her she showed me the paper again and I saw the way it was written more clearly. I guess I should have asked as she showed me the first time to clarify but I didn’t think it was necessary. My advice is to always double check verbally on the price to avoid this confusion or deliberate scam. The food was really nice though so that’s why I give it 4 stars. I wouldn’t have the lobster again for that...
