Hünkar Restaurant in Karon, Phuket, has been our favorite spot for authentic Turkish cuisine on both of our visits. The rich menu and consistently delicious food kept us coming back for both lunch and dinner. Its prime location—right across from Karon Beach—made it an easy and perfect choice, especially for lunch straight from the beach. What truly sets Hünkar apart is the incredible hospitality of the owner, Mehmet Abi. During our 20-day stay in Karon, he was a huge help, especially since my wife was pregnant. Nice place with a beautiful view of the sea. The restaurant is large, with a modern design, and an outdoor terrace. The owner is always present in the restaurant, he monitors the staff. In case of questions about the menu, he personally takes part and gives recommendations. This is very good, as the staff does everything quickly and efficiently. The portions are large and the food is very tasty. The price for the dish is slightly higher than in the market. But this place deserves attention.
