Tasty Food and Kid-Friendly Atmosphere!
Ñam Ñam Pasta and Tapas is located on the 2nd floor of RQ49 Mall. It’s a fantastic spot for families with young children. The restaurant has a dedicated play area for kids, making it a stress-free place for parents to enjoy a meal while the little ones have fun.
The menu focuses on Japanese-style pasta, which is both flavorful and comforting. Interestingly, they also offer some creative pasta dishes with a Thai twist — blending local flavors with the familiar texture of pasta, which makes the experience even more unique and enjoyable.
Aside from pasta, they also serve dishes like beef steak, pork chops, and salmon, along with a selection of desserts and beverages. The food is served quickly, which is a huge advantage when dining with kids!
While the adult menu isn’t extremely extensive, it includes all the essential dishes and is well-executed. Overall, it’s a cozy, clean, and family-friendly restaurant that delivers both good food and a welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommended for parents looking for a relaxing and enjoyable dining...
Read moreNice ambience. Bright and modern. A good variety of freshly made pasta. Delicious food. Can BYOB - 500b corkage.
Kid set is an excellent offering as it came with a juice, French fries (not excessive), a mushroom soup (good weight and not overly creamy), and a bolognese (defaulted pasta was reginette - I think).
The beef taco came not with ground beef but Striploin cubes. The cheese sauce mixed with jalapeño and red onion were flavorsome but a bit over salty. Overall too much sauce, and not enough chips.
Chili ebiko pasta was a little spicier than we anticipated. We choose Tagliolini 1.5mm which matched well.
Ramen broth was rich and strong (truffle). A bit too heavy for me. We chose Spaghettini black ink as the pasta and turned out to be over cooked due to the 1.2mm size. Should pair better with wider or thicker noodles.
It is better if the menu can recommend the chef’s choice of noodle type for each pasta dish...
Read morePretty decent pasta joint near the Bangkok Hospital. Excellent quality of pasta cooked perfectly al dente. The ragù, although delicious, was way too much for the amount of pasta served. It was drowning in sauce which made the pasta a bit too salty. However, again, the quality of the homemade pasta was superb. The salmon sashimi salad, a strange menu item for a pasta joint was overly salty. The flavor profile was interesting. It consisted of a fusion blend of Thai fish sauce with Wasabi. I'm not sure if it worked or not, but it didn't leave me smiling. I had more questions than answers.
You can take pasta to take away here which is unique for Bangkok.
The restaurant itself was very clean and the service was efficient.
Overall, a good place to have pasta but I'd skip the sashimi currently in its present state. They may change it but right now, it's...
