It’s surprising how many good reviews here, my experience was simply catastrofic. Nice people, but clueless how to properly do highlights. Burned my hair completely leaving the bleach for too long and obviously too strong (it took me 8 months to recover it), then told me well, highhlights damage hair, there are some pricey treatments that can help. Second time I thought how bad can they be just putting a toner over, but they surprised me. I left salon with black hair and no visible highlights. Every time leaving the salon unhappy and thinking how to fix the damage. Unbelivable, especially for the price you pay. Think twice before you go to this place.
Edit/reply: First time visited in November 2023. Let me know if you need my personal details, I can assure you I had a catastrophic experience with you and please don’t try to question the validity of this review. I simply think you need to learn that people have different types of hair and various previous treatments done and that you need to be careful with adjusting your approach to every customer so you don’t fry their hair. Simply putting bleach or toner on and eventually coming back to wash it off and stating hey it will be better with time, it will wash out, you need to do these fancy treatments to recover it and you have to accept it as your new normal is not acceptable. Please do some professional training to justify the price of your service. Your job is to keep our hair nice and healthy. I finally found a hairdresser who actually gives advice and does exactly what I want with the healthiest hair I ever had. Finally, I am not lonely - 2 friends of mine who were your clients had a similar experience and never came back again. Another client back in November sitting next to me had her hair turned to orange she was just retouching her blond hair) and she had a panic attack in front of me. It’s more frequent than it should be and people should be aware of that. I’m sure you’ll keep working on your skills and approach and I wish you all the best!
Edit - reply to your message that this is a spam. I wish it was just a spam to be honest… Should I mention that I personally know two ladies who experienced the same thing and moved to HairHouse instead, feeling thankful they found someone who actually know how to take care of their hair. Please just be better and learn how to take care of our hair. Every hair is different, and we pay lots to make sure we get the result we were promised to get. Wish you all the best in future, but please don’t call this spam. Apologize and try not to repeat the same mistake again with someone else, instead of accusing someone...
Read moreYesterday was my first experience getting a blonde balayage and cut from Micah and Justin Salon. I’ve been going to a different place in Bangkok since 2013 and was ready for a new experience and a new look. I went in for a consultation and was so pleased to meet Ms. Koy and her staff. I showed her what I wanted and she and her staff were so kind and excited to do my hair. So, Tuesday I arrived and we got started. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts- it was so light and friendly and all of her salon assistants consistently checked on me, offered me coffee and explained the process and how much longer I’d need to wait. THEN, the shampoo! Wow, they not only give incredible head massages, but the Olpaplex treatment was critical for my blonde hair. Their shampoo chairs are incredible, rather than having to pull your neck up as far as you can to the bowl, these chairs raise and lower, have a feature for resting your feet and have an option for a massage! So it’s like laying on a massage bed while having your head shampooed with premium products and massaged by a professional! It was the absolute best experience. When we were finished shampooing and cutting, they began blow drying and the color was absolutely stunning. She gave me exactly what I wanted and was so polite the whole time. She and her staff are definitely one of a kind. I especially like how their consult you can book online for free, so you can go in beforehand and speak to Ms. Koy about what’s best for you as well as how much it will all cost (blonde ladies, we know it’s not cheap to keep our color looking fab!) All in all a 10/10 experience. Ms. Koy gave me the biggest hug when I left and I just felt so great about the experience from the moment it began until I left. There are MANY salons in Bangkok, but Ms. Koy was trained in Belgium and she singlehandedly trained her staff- so they are all truly incredible at what they do. Highly, highly recommend this salon, and thank you to Ms. Koy and staff for my...
Read moreNot recommended for blonde hair at all. I needed to cover up my outgrowing hair which where half grey and contact this saloon and sent them also pictures of my hair. They anwsered and offered me the most expensive procedure in saloon - higlights for 7.500 bath. I wrote them that I do not want to do all my hair as I am happy with my original blond which was growing out. We agree that I will come to their place so they can see what they can do about my hair. When I arrived they told me to do the higlights for 7.500 because otherwise they have to colour the top of my head and highlits is better for me. Even it was way too much money for me to pay I agreed but I asked them like 4 times to keep my blonde on outgrowing hair. I already done higlight on Ko Samui 2 years ago and they made it very nice and professional and the colour stayed forever. It was not the case in this saloon. They did the higlight, but not the same blond as I already had even I asked them not to and first result was ok, so I did not say anything, but slowly slowly the colour from top of my head washed out and I was left with this ugly yelowish/orange stripes on my head and the grey hair was slowly coming back. The first photo is rught after they did my hair and the second is 3 weeks after. When I complain they said it is due to external factors, chlorine and etc...well I know its not becasue I was at the exactly the same place as before I did my hair on Ko samui, using same water and shampoo and swimming in the same sea. They offer me repair for free, but even i I would be in BKK I would not go to them anymore. I am afraid they can not handle the very blond, even you look at the reviews almost all "blonde" they did is like nougat blonde..not the proper blonde. Now I have to go to hairdresser again and pay again a lot of money to correct it, I am ashamed of my hair now as I look like someone made a cheap melir on my head. So if you do not want to destroy your hair find...
