Amazing hotel and fair price when I was here. Rooms are new and modern. View is not great from my room but boring somewhat. Tv and wifi is okay. Only a tea kettle and coffee tea Small fridge My sink doesn’t drain and I have complained to hotel but they don’t fix it. Same problem in the shower. So I decided to give the feedback here as it hasn’t changed. Was at the roof top pool. Very small. But okay when it’s not filled with kids playing. They have a few sun beds but not really many. Chairs and tables. They need trashcan as things blow into the pool. Service by the pool was almost non existent as I ordered a sparkling water it took them 32min to serve it and we were only 3 people by the pool. So something here is wrong. I went to the pool for a drink in the evening the next day and there where no one at 17.30 other than 4 staff members. I asked to sit at a table and they pointed to the one in the corner with no nice chair and a big table. I said no thanks and pointed to the 8 other tables that where free and no one there and they said “sorry sir it’s reserved for only people who are 3 or 4 persons as it’s Friday” but it was only 17.30 - so I decided to leave and go to another hotel that gladly wanted a paying customer. By the way when you arrive it’s hard to see the sign for the hotel as there are so many signs and not a front desk or not even a big sign pointing where to enter… so you go into the parking basement and take the elevator. Expect to wait a long time for elevators during your stay as when it’s busy they are really slow. Reception is kind but again they don’t help with the shower or sink at all. They take extra deposit for room when you arrive. Just so you know. The gym is very small and the heaviest weight is 25kg You can hear some of your neighbors when you live here and also every time people walk in the hall. Maybe they have 2 bad days but it also made my day even worse. So right now I’m not too happy. Maybe there are other good things the next 2 days.

A cozy boutique hotel in a quiet alley with great access to restaurants and cafes. The alleyway leads to Sukhumvit street which is filled with embassy housing, international schools, nice grocery stores, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. I booked this place because it was a 6 minute walk from Samitivej hospital, which i needed to visit several times during my 3 day stay here in Bangkok. I have been living in SE Asia for 5 years now, and I definitely think the Quartier is offering a lot of value. The room was excellent. Extremely comfy bed (which was upgraded to king size for free). Plush, perfect pillows. Modern light controls, free coffee/tea, free water, wonderful shower. The air conditioning system was modern as well. Most importantly, the rooms are quiet at night. I was able to get a good nights sleep. The rooftop is quirky with a decently sized pool, lots of comfy chairs and table, a nice bar, and a convenient gym (albeit quite small, but it was always empty.) On my last morning I was finally able to relax a little bit and took a nice dip in the pool and a short nap on the pool flutes. There was a wonderful breeze, very light background music, and the sky was perfectly blue. The breakfast is terrific. Excellent coffee choices, and lots of vegetarian and fruit options. Tasty omelettes and baked tomatoes! Finally, I have to extent my thanks to Jinny and Fern at the restaurant. They made me feel so welcome and always had my coffee ready for breakfast. They are extremely courteous, very professional, and they have such a warm aura. With all my anxiety due to my health problems, it felt good to be taken care of like that. I must not forget the front desk staff either, all of them are extremely friendly and very accommodating and helpful. Such a wonderful group of staff. I will definitely come back here again, as I will need to visit Bangkok again in the very near future.

The Lobby is not on the ground floor, so we need to go up to the Lobby by using the lift. There is 3 of us with 3 28 inch luggage + plus 2 big bag packs. and we try to fit into the very very small lift. The lift was so small that we have to squeeze into the lift and instantly i felt so uncomfortable with the tight space and cramp. Even when we do not have the luggages, the lift is still small for all 3 of us in the lift. It feels so uncomfortable.

We were assigned to the 6th floor and we got the last room (connecting room). The walkway at our room was dark. We open the hotel room and found the room was totally dark & we have to on our phone flashlights to go into the room to find the card slot to on the lights in the room.

The room has a very damp smell & my mini bar fridge has some smell as i open up the fridge. I went down to the lobby to ask to clean up the smell. The housekeeping help to spray some air cleaner in the room after for us. I requested for my mini bar and items in the fridge to be clear as i dont want it in my room. The staff mentioned to me the next morning they will clear it for us. Unfortunately, for the 6 nights i was there, nothing was cleared.

Hotel breakfast is simplest as ever. For us that is staying for 6 nights and had to order our breakfast ala carte with just few menu, is really boring. Not much other cold cuts for us. Daily coffee or tea and 1 juice daily for breakfast. Everything is the same.

Hotel pool is extremely small, i can say it could be called dipping pool. The photos posted for this hotel and for me being there, fell a little below my standard and the place on rooftop where the pool and bar located is really small.

The location of the hotel is really not good. Very not convenient, traffic is always bad and we always wait for our grab for at least 15 - 30 mins for them to come and pick us up. Then once out from hotel, we will be sitting for at least 20 mins to reach phrom pong bts station.

On the 5th day of my stay in the hotel, during breakfast time the hotel staff came to us and ask us to help to review to hotel. To my surprised the hotel staff tell us to review how many stars according to what she say (even she did not force us, but when she ask us to review how many stars really make me not happy) i was really put off. Does that mean all reviews here in google and other booking platform is not 100% true? I booked this hotel according to the review of this hotel. But to my surprise this hotel is not what as other people mentioned.

I was in Bangkok for 7 days, i can say i literally dont enjoy my stay here in this hotel.

Housekeeping is not 100% good too as everytime i enter my room and go barefoot, my feet can feel some dust and some sand on my feet.

I hope the hotel, do some upgrades and changes to the above so that next customer will feel more comfortable staying longer...

Located near Samitivej hospital and not expensive. Given the purpose of the visit. this location and price were key factors in choosing the hotel. The room was comfortable enough for the price. Towels and amenities were sparingly provided. Breakfast, included in the price, was almost satisfactory. A mix of a la carte (for the hot items) and a somewhat tired buffet of 2-3 types of fruit and some veggies/salad. You need to make your own toast. The staff will take your hot meal order and prepare coffee or tea for you. The ambience of the room is charmless and sterile. No music to hide the sounds of the AC units. And whoever chose the uniforms for the female staff needs to do a lot of explaining. Inappropriate, ill fitting and highly unattractive. Must be demoralizing to have to wear these. The hot meal: eggs cooked accurately to order, sunny side up one day, scrambled the next. Scrambled eggs were not over cooked and enjoyable. The eggs are accompanied by 1 extraordinarily crisp rasher of bacon more suited to being crumbled into a Caesar salad than served for breakfast. 1 room temperature sausage and one piece of sandwich ham. These meats would have been prepared at the start of service or before and held for a few hours before served. The staff were attentive enough but I'm not keen on being solicited to provide a tripadvisor review, being told to mention the staff's names and pointedly told that management judges staff performance based on these reviews. The website lists a complimentary shuttle service to Em Quartier and the BTS, the front desk staff said: sorry there are no drivers employed at this time. If that's the case then update the website. would I stay here again? If I needed to return to the hospital, maybe. But unlikely for any other reason. There are a number of restaurants in the vicinity and a 7/11, plus a few dessert and other shops on the ground floor of the hospital...
