I'm Thai but from the UK and was staying in Thong Lor for a few days between Xmas and NY.. I found this little fortress of solitude seeking out the Crackhouse and I got a bit obsessed with it. The Crackhouse breakfast pancake burger beat a McMuffin (and I love a good McMuffin) and a bonus was that they did proper poutine. Meat and Cheese Burger did the best burger I've had in a while.. didn't know I needed my soft briochey bun to have crisp edges till now!! And you can get a junior size too if you want something small.. their parmesan truffle mayo fries were also so crisp and earthy. Seven Suns also worth a visit for some great matcha drinks and Roots for some good coffee.. something literally for everyone here. Such a cool space, great atmosphere to chill, write, meet with mates in shaded or air conned spaces....
Read moreI always had good impression with Bun Meat and Cheese, ever since they showcased the "Shake Shack" burger during their campaign/event. I used to recommend to many of my friends. But today, I was extremely disappointed ☹️ I know their buns are well known for being soft but (even when it was a dine-in), mine was super soggy, and all ingredients were just falling out of place, making the entire burger-munching experience not quite pleasant. Fries were also pale, not crispy at all, and just didn't hit the mark. Chicken wings were dry, but still okay. I wasn't a happy customer today, and not sure if I'll return. Hope the original recipe-maker/manager (whoever in charge) can take more time visiting the shop and ensure continuation in...
Read moreOrdered the sausage platter and it came, after an excruciatingly long wait, without a single morsel of bread! When I asked for a slice of bread, they told me that sausage is not hot dog and doesn’t come with a bun!!! I told them that the bread is implied everywhere a sausage platter is on the menu, and they replied that the sausages are Thai and that’s how it is in Thailand!! Meanwhile the place has an English name and menu written in English and serves burgers on buns!! The sausages were actually tasty (though a bit undercooked and seriously overpriced) but with that logic you’d think they’d be serving burgers without buns!! I will not return and...
