Genius Bar BKK - Bone Broth Cafe — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

Love the food here but it's truly remarkable how unfriendly the service staff is. I've come several times and its always the same inhospitable atttitude from this partciular girl. I think she's Filipino. Thai people are not like this. When arriving, she doesn't even acknowledge my presence or smile. I feel like I am a great inconvenience on her life to be here and there is a general atmosphere of not being welcome. I get it this is not a typical restaurant with a service charge - but a minimum friendly approach would be nice.

There was one time I came, sat down, and her back was turned to me and remained that way. No "hello" or any kind of acknowledgement that she just recieved a new customer. I had to be like "uhhh... hello?". Her reaction was not like "oh sorry, didn't see you". No it was like "yeah..." with a bored and lazy look on her face. Yes ,we all have bad days, but it's like this every time I've come.

If it wasn't for the tasty food, I'd never come back and I might opt to go somewhere just to not have to deal with her. For God's sake, you dont have to be a "genius" to hire...

I discovered Genius Bar on a recent quest for healthier eating, and if you're also health conscious and want great tasting food at a reasonable price, I highly recommend you check it out.

The founders of Genius Bar, Kat and Darren, have a strong background in health and nutrition. They genuinely seem to care about improving the health of their customers, so you can expect high quality ingredients and food sources only. They even drop occasional knowledge bombs on general health and nutrition.

This may be anecdotal but in recent weeks I've subjectively noticed an improvement in my physical and mental well-being and can only correlate it to eating at Genius Bar more frequently. As a bonus, the food here also tastes great. The cooking and delivery service provided by Sheila and Zin Zin is also highly reliable and professional.

I've been looking for ways to heal my gut health and bone broth is known to be one of the best remedies and great for your immune system, so naturally I had to try Genius Bar's bone broth. I made my first order through Line and they were so accommodating! I told them why I wanted to try the broth and asked for recommendations, they let me mix the beef and chicken broth and basically create my own dish replacing the pork in the dry noodles for the bok choy salad. Oh and Darren the owner was so helpful! He gave me nutrition advice when I told him my gut/digestion concerns. Can't wait to visit now that it's open for...
