I came here lookin’ for noodles… Thongsmith at Eight Thonglor hit me with straight-up noodle royalty vibes 👑🍜💥 The decor? Sleek, modern, and just bougie enough to make you feel like you’re about to eat the Hermès of boat noodles 🛶🖤 Even the chopsticks felt like they deserved a tip. I got the signature boat noodle and oh lawd—rich, beefy broth that tasted like it had been simmering since the Ayutthaya era 🥩🔥
The noodles? Silky smooth, with meatballs that were bouncier than my bank account on payday 💸🌀 Toppings stacked like they were flexin’—braised beef, tender slices, crispy pork rinds all hangin’ out in one bowl like a superstar collab 🍖🍜🐷 And the side dishes? Don’t sleep on those grilled pork skewers or crispy wontons—snacked on them like I had no self-control and no regrets.

I generally prefer boat noodles with more of a punch… beef balls with more umami, beef that’s more tender and creamy (for the price), and noodles with more depth of flavor. Cleanliness is very good, and they offer both beef and pork boat noodle options. Their veggies are good, but their broth also lacks depth. I especially like their location, seating, menu, and staff… very well trained. This location was busy and turning tables constantly throughout lunch service. Accessibility is great for this location and it is a go-to spot when I am in the area for a quick lunch. Parking is free for a certain period after validation from the restaurant. A decent choice for a $13 dollar boat noodle...

The venue also stays true to the tradition by serving every boat noodle with its signature elements like pork rinds, meatballs, cinnamon, basil, and...
