The food was excellent I had the cream curry with prawns and rice. Service was quick and food arrived quickly. As a solo diner it is incredibly frustrating to be sat at a table right in the corner next to the busy service area of the bar, felt like it was the table the waiters get sat at the have their dinner. There were around 5-6 free tables in the middle and back of the first half so I am unsure why they sat me right tucked away in a corner... Upon leaving I saw it has another half with quite a few empty tables. When I arrived there was a group of 5 behind me, they were so rushed to seat the bigger group I was completely ignored and about to put my shoes back on, till I was told to wait a moment and they'd give me a table. At least I had a fan to myself. Due to this I didn't bother ordering a starter, or dessert or cocktails and didn't feel like staying any longer than to try the food which I had read good reviews for and it was excellent food. Had the experience been better I could have easily ordered a lot more. The curry, rice and water 500ml was 240 baht. Despite this I would return to try other food...

We arrived on Phi Phi Island yesterday after the boat ride from Phuket, and Anna’s Restaurant came highly recommended. Naturally, we checked the reviews, and they were all glowing – now we know why!
The Phad Thai noodles are out of this world – the perfect balance of garlic, chili, and incredible flavor. My wife, my mum, my dad, and I all ordered the same dish, and we were absolutely blown away. It’s one of those meals you can’t stop thinking about.
The next day, after an amazing boat trip, we returned for a late lunch and couldn’t resist ordering the same dish again. Tonight, we’ve already booked a table, but this time we’re going to branch out and try something different – though it’s hard to imagine anything topping the Phad Thai!
The owner, Richard, is a fantastic guy from the UK. He’s full of interesting stories about the restaurant and the island, which added an extra personal touch to the experience.
If you’re in Phi Phi, Anna’s is an absolute must-visit. Thank you, Richard and the team – we can’t wait to see you...
Read moreThis was probably our favorite restaurant in Ko Phi Phi. Upon arrival, we had to remove our shoes (no big deal) and they told us it was busy so it would be about a 40min wait for food, which we didn't mind. Service was great and we appreciated that they let us know ahead of time. They also helped us by recommending dishes & helping us choose our spice level. For drinks, we got strawberry daiquiris and margaritas. Both were freshly made & delicious! Probably the best daiquiri & margarita I had ever had. The margarita was made to taste - you got to sample it & let them know if it needed more sugar. For food, we got spring rolls, papaya salad, and the chili & spicy basil pork. The papaya salad was insanely spicy, but the main dish wasn't quite as bad. The rice came out shaped like a heart for the ladies, and like a flower for the men, which I thought was a nice touch. The service and food was amazing - I would highly recommend this to anyone...
