Calamaro Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

We came here as our 1st restsurant experience on the island... hugely disappointed! Ordered cocktails 1st, watermelon vodka, which came in a half full mason jar with zero vodka taste , as previous vodka watermelon cocktails ive had elsewhere, i'd expect at least a hint of alcohol or a full jar of watermelon juice!! The food came, a chicken green curry which was watery and below average, I'd had much better a week ago! But whatever, all trial and error! But not wanting to pay 99THB for half a watermelon juice, I politely asked for a bit more vodka ... rudely the guy who made it said something in Thai to himself as he walked off and brought the large vodka shot back to me. The bill arrived with the extra shot added which again, I politely said I shouldn't have to pay for... same guy and more muttering under breath in Thai followed! I smiled at him from across the small "restaurant" to which he looked at me with daggers and raised his shoulders and arms at me in the most inappropriate and extremely aggressive way I have EVER been on receiving end of! I'm a 35 year old female and can not believe his disgusting behaviour all because his cocktail making skills wasn't up to standard! My advise AVOID AT ALL COSTS... much MUCH nicer...

We had dinner at an international cuisine café on Phi Phi Don with the whole family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 — 7 of us in total: 3 adults 🧑🧑‍🦰🧔, 2 teenagers 👦🧒, and 2 kids 👧👦. The service was fast ⚡, the food tasty 😋 and filling 🍝🍕🍲. Portions were large, presentation was neat ✅, and everything — from pasta and pizza to Thai food — was top-notch ⭐. Good thaï cuisine, I had the thaï fried chicken and was pretty impressed with the abundance of flavors. Sweet, sour, spicy and crunchy ! The salad was also fresh and the rice tasted good.

My girlfriend had the stir fried instant noodles with vegetables, which she liked.

The only bad thing would be that we seemed to bother the waitress (although we came around 7 PM and were the second pair of customers in the restaurant).

I would absolutely recommend the Calamaro restaurant, good bang...
